With my military training I can definitely hold my own and I’m not afraid of a fight. I notice a few of the guys are parting and I can tell the manager or owner is coming so I loosen my hold on the kid. I notice his leather cut and the patch on the front says Prez. Fuck. I’m looking up to greet him and my arm is slightly raised. Damn I might actually be intimidated by this guy. “Hi, I’m Lilith Walker. I’m here for the four o’clock interview.”

"Where are you, Lila? Show yourself if you aren't a coward." She didn't respond, yet she didn't leave. Rage blasted through me as I allowed my magic to flow to my fingertips and, without hesitation, blasted it into the air around me, revealing Lila. She shook her head gently, but before I could attack her, she disappeared. Fucking betrayer. I would find her and tear her into fucking pieces. Gideon curled his arm around my waist and drew me closer, placing his other hand on my cheek. "It's fine, baby. Breathe. You finally defeated Gabriel, and I am proud of you."

He put the earpiece into his ears and with his eyes closed he was nodding to the song sexy back by Justin Timberlake. Lily, who was in the cell, started feeling faint and sweat broke on her forehead. She got up and walked to the cell and tapped on it calling the officer, but he couldn't hear as his eyes were closed and the music was very loud. Lily uses the last energy in her to scream, "Help" and falls to the ground.

To be honest, even though she had grown up with a mother who ran a nightclub, she had never picked up the habits of that world. He and lily were the only people standing. "For what exactly?" Mum asked keeping her tablet away. She had that look reserved for bringing hell down on earth to anyone who wasn't doing things the right way and Gideon was nervously holding my hand meaning he knew Gabriel was about to mess up with wrong choice of his words. "Fam, I have an announcement to make" he ignored both mum and dad and went ahead. Gideon quickly got on his feet.

Davis's POV “Gideon had confirmed being asked to do some task relating to the kidnapping of a child but was immediately asked to drop the job” Vincent explained as we walked out of the room. “What's that? Who's Gideon?” I raised a brow as I walked out of the room, leaving the fucking doctor to cough his lungs out. “A leader of a small gang in Westfield. He is one of the men sent last time for the mission with Austin” Vincent explained as he went on to show me the guy's picture on his phone.

Eugene once again knocked dejectedly on Gideon's office door. "Come in," Gideon said. Eugene immediately opened the door, kneeling in front of him. "Since you received the video and voice recording, you'll definitely be able to help me find out where Lilian went, Chief Merrick," he said. "I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have betrayed her, and I shouldn't have cheated. As long as you can help me find her, I'm willing to accept any punishment."

Where the unwanted feeling has creeped in from, I was praying it deflated back in. "Argh, stop it. One more thing though." I said. "What is it? Did you get eaten out by a model this also?" Lily now was laughing her head off and I only wished I could pass my hands through the phone and pinch her ears. Just one pinch would do for me. A little pinch and the satisfaction to watch her ear go pink from pain. "Gideon is kind of like, um, coming over tonight. We agreed to like yunno, do the deed at my apartment. I guess?"

“Yes,” Briley said earnestly. “It’s absolutely Gideon’s MO – humiliation and throwing them out of his little personal paradise, making them crawl and beg to be forgiven, engaging in re-education that’s really just brainwashing… that’s him all over the damn place.” “Except,” said the one twin. “Iris saw him murder Lily in the compound basement.
