She started to bow out of habit, but I waved her off. “Oh, stop that,” I said, grinning. “You know I hate it when you do that.” Simone chuckled softly, and I could see the genuine affection in her smile. “I only do it because it annoys you.” I introduced Lila, gesturing to the young woman carrying a box of food. “Simone, meet Lila. She’s your new personal helper.”

I knew instantly who'd done it. Before long, the Internet was piling on. "Ten years is more than enough to leave someone in the dust. Mark seriously thinks he can beat Jerome? It was rare that Tobey agreed with Chelsea's comments. Meanwhile, Liesel hummed in response. She ended the call without continuing the conversation. Liesel hurriedly skimmed through the Twitter trends while coming up with a plan in her mind. Not only did she find their tweets rather ridiculous, but she also finally understood why Elijah looked so upset.

She pouted apologetically. I frowned at her in the mirror with a pressed lips look to show that I'm annoyed, but in fact, I appreciate it that she could come in spite of having a tight schedule.
