The little girl tilted her head. “I know the bridge.” Darrien exchanged a glance with James. Charlotte kept her voice gentle. “What’s your name?” The little girl hesitated. Then answered. “Lily.” “Are you here by yourself?” Lily nodded. “I wasn’t.” Charlotte’s heart tightened. “Were you with your parents?” Another small nod. “They disappeared.” James frowned. “What do you mean, disappeared?” Lily looked toward the trees. “They walked away with the nice man.” Charlotte felt ice settle in her stomach.

Sky didn’t mind her jumping on him, he was focused more on the book Lily showed him with astonished expressions. “Do you think I know what it is?” asked Sky looking at incredulously. “He is coming” said Lily in barely a whisper and hit his stomach with her elbow. “Ouch! Ah! Liam will help too” said Sky when he understood what Lily wanted to convey. “I will help whom with what?” asked Liam confusedly. “You will help us with this” ordered Sky with authority while showing him the book. “Are you kidding me? Ask more politely” said Liam with a smirk.

For the first time, lily felt shivers. She was confused about what to do. He dragged her by the side and pushed her down holding her hands tightly. He brought her face closer to kiss her but she retracted struggling to get out of his grip. She bit his lip as she ran away from him. He Chased after her trying to nurse his bleeding lip. Lily got to a crossroad she took the left and saw a car pass by she crossed and got hit and fell unconscious.

Thursday is a boring day for Riri because usually she has to go home early and spend time alone as her uncle must be out of town and it's good now that she has Lily to play with... Lily whispered. "And the tower. In London. And the kids in the water. And you. You were hurt." Ethan and Riya looked at each other. "You saw London?" Riya asked carefully. Lily nodded. Ivy barked with joy, zooming between them like it was a game. “Ivy, how many times would I tell you a book is not a toy?” Lily huffed as she lunged for her, but Ivy darted away just in time, leaving Lily to fall into the peony bush. Miles laughed. “Are you okay?” He helped Lily up. “She’s got quick reflexes.” You have no idea,” Lily muttered. Ivy stopped suddenly, stepping closer as if to check if she was okay before taking off again. Lily and Miles exchanged glances before taking off after her again.

After Lily was rescued by Westley the day before, she had followed the Mouse Sect to the North Moana continent to dig the ancient tomb. After what she had gone through the past few years, Lily was a much stronger person. However, it was still her first time robbing an ancient tomb. She was extremely worried in her heart. She stepped into the woods and made her way down the road. The path she had mapped out in her head was clear, and she moved swiftly, her senses on high alert. She knew she wasn't entirely safe until she has successfully crossed the border. It was most important.

I have been doing that a lot lately. We step inside and the house smells like coffee and something sweet, maybe cookies. It’s warm, safe, nothing like the clubhouse where we reside.
