Novel & Cerita Lincoln Highway

"Alright, I'm looking forward to it!" Jyn declared, though her expression had stiffened. Everyone was stupefied. The two major conglomerates were going head to head, and no one could predict the outcome of their battle. … A procession of over a thousand cars abruptly appeared along the freeway on the outskirts of Southlake City. A Lincoln limousine came to a stop, and Ace stepped out of it. Staring at the city before him, he narrowed his eyes and asked, "So this is Southlake City?"

I got into the car, settling down, waiting for him to start the car engine. Soon, we are on the highway, driving back to the office, with a song playing in the background. The accident from earlier is still stuck in my mind. I don't want anyone to find out about it. That truck purposely aimed in my direction. There's no way the car lost its brakes and just went out of control. "Mr. Lincoln." I say, grabbing his attention. "Do you think that truck purposely tried to run us off the road?" He sighs, but says nothing. I don't know what's going through his mind. But all I can think of is that he's aware, he knows the truck came on purpose.

"We cross at the ford. Krishna maintains the ward; she can't maintain it if we don't make it past Vosvak." They arrived at the Broken Ford at the break of dawn, a river swollen and raging, the stepping-stones half-submerged and wet with blood and oil. The ford had been crossed for centuries; today it was the throat of a battlefield. There were fires along the bank where villagers had attempted to stand, their gaunt faces smudged and dirty with ash. Wolves beasts of stitched flesh and the bite of rot prowled the reed-lines, their eyes like sunk coins.

Cracked, oil-stained asphalt stretching endlessly in both directions—the highway. The highway. The same one from the nightmares. From the legends. From the whispers that had followed Riven since the first blood oath was sworn and the first ghost was born. Streetlights flickered overhead, buzzing weakly. No stars. No moon. Just darkness pressed low and heavy, like the sky itself was watching. Luca stood beside him, hand still locked in his. Solid. Real. “Do you feel that?” Luca asked quietly. Riven nodded. “Yeah. We’re not out. We’re… inside.”

“The mayor had appointed Lawrence Linus as president to take over command of the taskforce in my place. Lawrence promised to get rid of every shifter here in the city within a week. We shall wait to see how he intends to do this.” The sky was a fair maiden with blue brocade skirts that were embellished with shimmering whorls of chalk-white wisps and enshrouding in a gold lace overskirt made of gauzy sunlight. And below it, a Jetta made its way along the lonely stretch of a long-forgotten highway, surrounded by huge towering oaks which had their incredibly long branches stretched into the road, shading the vehicle from the stabbing glare of the unforgiving sun. Landry drove down the lonely hi

I tell her and hang up. As I near Amber's house, it's large and beautiful. I have been here many times but every time I make a visit, I love it even more. Amber comes running down the stairs and opens the huge gate. She is beaming . I park my Porsche beside her Maserati and across Claire's Audi. There is a similarity among us and that is driving is our passion. I get out my car and before I close my door, she comes literally running and gives me a tight hug as if she is planning to crush my bone and choke me.

She could not win him in a fistfight, nor was she blessed with a silver tongue… Argh. Whatever. She decided to follow him first before he had gotten too far. Cecelia hailed a taxi, hastily asking the driver the moment she got in, “Mister, could you please follow the black…” Only then did it hit Cecelia, that was a luxury car! Hawick had found joy in reading up on cars while they were still an item, and so Cecelia gained slight knowledge on the subject from listening to him. The car William Sandler had gotten on was a limited-edition Lincoln released earlier this year. With just three of them worldwide, simply being rich did not necessarily mean one could get their hands on it. She did not ex

*Lunch time* We went out of the building and as expected the MIB guides us inside the car. "Shit Ella! This car is gorgeous" "Lincoln Navigator. This car is for royalties!" Mark said. "Lincoln? Youyou asked purposefully, “Have you found anything about the person I told you to investigate a few days ago?” “Yes. The information is all here.” Mr.Li respectfully handed over a thick file containing the results of the investigation. His face was expressionless as he flipped the pages. He looked more and more serious as he read on. The Lincoln car drove into the district housing rich people in the capital, Champagne Lake. The area had some of the most expensive villas in the capital. Whoever lived here was someone with a high status and net worth. It was revoltingly expensive. The Lincoln car drove through, unimpeded by anyone, while the Bentley was stopped at the gate.

He asked. Lincoln crossed his arms, nodding in affirmation. "That's a nice evening quote. I succumb. For your question... I just arrived five minutes ago. Come on. Time to have some fun." Rohan and Lincoln went to their various cars, hopping in. Lorenzo waited until they were out before he swiftly tailed behind them. They drove through the driveway, driving past several cars, houses, and railways. He almost ran into an oncoming car since he wasn't focusing. Swerving through a different lane, he stepped on the brakes and turned off the engine for a few seconds to catch his breath.
