I had been doing it a lot, I noticed. I realized I hadn’t mind linked Zaliver through the mating bond. He did it once but not through the bond. He used his alpha link to me. I closed my eyes and concentrated on finding the link. I pictured Zaliver in my mind. His image was easy to conjure up. As soon as his face popped up in my mind, I let the thread that connected us both come to life, letting the magic of the bond consume me. I let myself melt into the vibrant and warm golden red thread.

But somehow, I can't reach Amelia either.” Zelda's father's eyes widened, and he let out a sharp intake of breath. “Are you saying you think Amelia has something to do with Zelda's disappearance?” he asked, his voice trembling.

Zelda replied, her tone carrying a hint of regret. I sighed softly, feeling a pang of sadness for all the times I had felt lost and isolated. "Yeah, it was tough." "Geez, why did your mom seal me?
