He watches silently from the shadows to weigh and measure the knights of this new clan, should they be found wanting, May they receive his blessing, should they be found lacking Let none escape his fury. With intentions revealed and spirits rekindled anew the Sky Raiders flew into battle to aid the people of the world below them.

They may not like me, but at least when they're near, other students can't kill me. Ahead of me, Rowan, Seyla, and Lyra, all link arms as they giggle in excitement. I slow my pace slightly to keep a distance. I don't want my sour mood to bring down theirs. I glance up at the night sky, and I gasp. I stop walking altogether as I take in the millions of stars lighting the sky. I almost forgot how beautiful the night sky is.

The wedding planner had sent one final text message. [Miss Thorne, you have exactly ten minutes left.] I held down the audio button on my messaging application. My voice was completely flat, completely steady. "Cancel it."

And my son had become that someone. --- We climbed to the roof. The wind was gone now; the air was thick and humming. The sky had split into a mosaic of color — blue auroras fracturing around golden cracks. All across the horizon, towers rose from the ice, connected by glowing bridges that hung suspended in midair. The whole world was becoming one colossal organism. Kira exhaled, eyes wide. “It’s… beautiful.” “It’s terrifying,” Lena whispered. She turned to me. “Adrian, if this keeps expanding, it’ll reach the southern grids. That means—”

Just then, my phone buzzed with a call from my leader. "Marvin, the chopper's landed at the hospital for your granddad. Where are you? I'll send someone to get you."

I took off for the wild yonder, gazing up at the Milky Way sprawled across the night sky. It was my son's dream. He was a stargazer, an astronomy buff since he was knee-high. On his birthday, he saw his first meteor shower in the wild. Tragically, that same night became his last. I was determined to make his dream come true. The divorce papers, signed by Elias, landed in my mailbox. Maybe it was guilt, but he rewrote the terms, leaving me with a lion's share of our assets. I took it all without batting an eye.

one of the soldiers snapped, “What the fuck are they talking about!” Another soldier suddenly raised his hand and pointed at the distant skyline: “—Look!” A golden glow of light shot up into the night sky. It exploded into millions of little colorful sparkles, painting the black canvas into a pink and orange halo. Fireworks! “Why are they doing fireworks? Is today a Lycan’s festival?” Just then, more fireworks went up into the sky and they formed two giant letters that dominated the skyline: W&J. “Wait…” a soldier gasped, “…W&J…Isn’t it…Westin and Aurora?!”

See my eyes turned wet thinking about the deceased, even my parents are also with them in heaven, but my loving ones are with me. My Sky is looking so cute and calm, sitting on her chair reading a file while chewing the back of her pen and making weird faces, and many faces, in a minute. I am watching her cute antics through the transparent glass between both of our cabins. I specially made to design this cabin so that I can see her whenever I want. Since the day Sky was officially announced the president of Stark industries, she made few changes for the sake of the company, and Evelyn was appointed an active managing director.

In the mean time I will place ' *** ' at the beginning and end of the mindlinked dialogue just so it makes sense for context. There are many times when Sky is talking to someone and mindlinking others. Typically with Lil when they are badmouthing someone. As the story reaches the end this will be mor crucial. Let me know if it is helpful or just distracting. Thanks for reading and sticking with me this far into Sky's journey! I appreciate all of you.
