I said to him and he nodded. “Lionell and Patrick, I’m excluding you because you’ve adopted younger children from the pack and they can’t lose parent figures again.” They both nodded at me.

AYLA “There!” I screamed, and a huge lion jumped out. It was massive, its golden tail tangled with twigs, and its roar thundered through the trees like an earthquake. For a split second, it felt like the world stopped. The warriors around the yard scrambled, yelling orders and drawing weapons, but the beast’s eyes were locked on me. “Ayla, run!” Riven barked, stepping in front of me. The lion charged forward. Riven met it mid-air, his sword flashing as he slashed at the creature’s shoulder. It howled, twisting mid-air and tearing his skin open with a swipe of its massive paw. Riven flew back, landing hard with a heavy crack that made my blood boil.

Lin stared at Liam, "If you ever tried to harm Her Highness, I will chop you into pieces." Liam chuckled, "Same goes for you. Anyways I am looking forward to your cooperation." Lin nodded, "Me too." The atmosphere was tense with both the beasts glaring at each other. I had no other choice but to break the silence.

She's mine. I climb, slowly and carefully, my coils wrapping the trunk, dodging the last of her barbs. The air grows heavy with her presence. It's wild, defiant and intoxicating. My hands are inches from her perch when a roar splits the night. "Coilheart!" Hadrian's voice thunders, shaking the leaves. I hiss in anger, twisting to look down. The lion king storms into the clearing, his golden eyes blazing, flanked by Fenrick's black wolf form and Nythor's white striped tiger. Three against one. Again.

But with all of his great power came several great pain-in-the-asses. Unrest fell among the pack since the joining of the two clans. Some of the new wolves had bad habits from Lolita’s sadistic rule. Most, if not all of them, despised Lio as their new King but they still respected him. Well, some of them did. I was sitting at the kitchen table with Lio talking while we ate some chocolate Oreo ice cream. It was so warm today I had to put my hair up into a high bun. I dressed as lightly as possible in a solid white tank top and some royal blue shorts with a pair of white thonged sandals. He is a king . I am surprised how he hasn't even gotten a CV of mine from the human world . ' thought Charlotte as she flipped th

I do not want her too close yet I cannot allow her to stray either. To everyone around she is the poor noble girl who is forced to serve a beast, but I know better it is in her eyes. I might have been fooled by her, if not for her eyes, they are like a lioness stalking its prey. She sees every move I make not letting up for a second. I cannot shake the feeling that something is not right with her. I have seen the eyes of many killers, behind each lays a darkness and she is no different.
