Lips Turning Blue When Cold Novels & Stories

The floor beneath my boots was completely buried under a blanket of snow. I pulled the wool headscarf as tight as it would go around my face. I tucked the ends deep into the collar of my shirt. My teeth were already chattering hard, and my breath left my lips in thick puffs of white steam. I looked down at my hands. They were already turning a pale blue from the cold. After about twenty minutes of scrubbing myself clean, the ice cold water wasn't as cold as it was early on my skin, I got out of the bath and all of a sudden a breeze from the window came in and hit me, I felt like my blood turned cold, and both my skin and my veins had turn blue and are as strong as ice.
