Blue's POV I rushed to Trevor after he started coughing. The temperature inside the container is so cold. I could feel my lips getting numb. The temperature is as if passing through my bones and it's getting unbearable. "B-Blue…" He can barely open his eyes. He looked so weak but he looked so happy seeing me. I cupped Trevor's face with my palms after squeezing it against each other, hoping it could ease the coldness he's feeling. "We'll get out of here, Trevor."

It was as if all the heat had been pulled out of it. Lindsay stood and took Annie’s hands. Her left hand was normal. Her right hand was also as cold as ice, and her nails were almost blue.

I shuffled myself close enough to see his face in the moonlight, and what I saw stopped me. His skin was gray. Not pale — gray, the gray of a body that was shutting down non-essential functions to preserve the core. His lips had a bluish tinge. His breathing was rapid, shallow, irregular — the breathing of a body that was struggling to oxygenate, that was working harder than it should have been for air that wasn't coming.
