“You’re making this difficult for yourself, Lisa,” he said, his voice dangerously soft. “Just tell me what I want to know, and this will all be over.”
Lisa looked up at him, her eyes filled with hatred. “I’d rather die.”
Lucas chuckled, a low, menacing sound. “As you wish.”
He stood up and gestured to his men. “Take her to the dungeon. She’ll have plenty of time to reconsider her choices.”
