When I turn eighteen and leave the orphanage, I can give them all to him at once. I hide the notebook in a crack between the cabinets and use a plastic ruler to retrieve it. I just got it out, but before I can hide it, Leya comes into the room. She's a normal girl and her butt isn't fat anymore; she's lost weight since we were ten. Leya doesn't know about the diary though, so I shove it under the mattress by the headboard and cover it with a pillow. Lucky, my talisman, sits next to my pillow. I know I can trust him.

Thud! My eyes scan my wardrobe, only to find that one of them was slightly opened. I found that weird as I always lock that specific one. That drawer contained my private belongings, which were not a lot. All it contained were my new diary, my menstrual cycle calendar and a few silly notes I had done in the seventh grade when I was “in love”.

I'd rather write it down in a diary than share it with someone who can't even understand the words I tell. For seventeen years, I have kept this diary inside my old bag. Luckily, I didn't lose it. It's one of the things that I cherished the most. This diary make me feel like grandma was just beside me. As I opened it, I saw the letters I wrote since I was in elementary. Until I turn into a teenager, I still wrote in this diary.

With leather on it and a strange P monogrammed on the cover. It was far fancier than anything the Dollar Tree should be selling. Finding it was a score that had Kristen grinning. She was enamored with her new diary. She was eager to get started on it. The diary was thick, too. She could write so many of her naughty ideas in them.

I heard the car engine start before i hang up the phone. Taking another deep breath, i leaned back on the bench after picking my Diary up.
