My throat tightened, but I forced myself to keep walking. I scanned the room, taking in the girls draped over their laps, their laughter too loud, and their eyes glazed. A small part of me felt relieved that I wasn’t the only one here, but it didn’t last. We weren’t the same. They were here to entertain; I was here to work. “Good evening, I’ll be serving you tonight,” I said into my mini mic, standing in front of their table. I kept my voice steady and my eyes down, but my heart pounded in my chest.

Cool. No fever. Her eyes stay fixed on the door for another five seconds, wide and intent, then she blinks and goes back to the block like nothing happened.

Theo replied without missing a beat, and shrugged. She laughed, the sound like nails on a chalkboard. Lulu was a small woman, at most about five and a half feet, with mousy brown hair, a smattering of freckles and hard eyes. You would never guess that one of the current most powerful vampires resided in her body. She had taken her curlers out and her long hair fell in choppy waves down her back, her eyes narrowed on Theo. Her stance widened and her knees bent as I watched in horror while her fangs elongated, until she looked like some sort of deranged hamster. Lulu’s powers were unknown to me, but it was clear Theo was familiar with them as he didn;t even blink an eye.

Her eyes almost bulge out from their socket. "You are... LLM?! Yes! LLM stands for Lily Miracle!" I nodded "I trust you, Rose. No one really knows about my identity, only few know what I look like. Even the board members of my dad's company don't even know how I looked, except Michael's parents because his dad is my daddy's best friend." I held her hand "I know that your parents are working for my daddy but I am asking you to don't tell anyone especially to your parents about me. I'm keeping my profile as low as possible. Please?"

- Meanwhile, Lulu picked up her phone again, staring determinedly but coolly at the screen. She decided to answer if Zachary called again. However, just as she was about to go to take a bath, a call came from Irene. "Hello?" Lulu hesitated for a while but answered with her raspy voice—her voice had changed a little following her plastic surgery. "Have you been resting?" Irene's voice was soft and lively. Lulu did not answer, however. Pausing for a moment, she then sighed. "I saw him." Irene certainly knew who she was talking about—she knew they would eventually meet, but not that soon! "And?"

Chapter 10. An Urgent Appointment. Lyla Atelo. "Good morning, class." I held my head high as my heels clicked against the tiled floor. The class was extremely quiet unlike the last time I had met with them for the first time. "Good morning, Mrs. Lyla." They all chorused at the same time. My treacherous eyes scanned the class to look for him, and there he was, sitting comfortably at the back seat once again. His eyes roamed my body lazily, and I couldn't help but feel self conscious in the crocheted white gown I wore.

She paused in thought before continuing, “We'll just call her Lala. They met after Lala visited Lulu's palace with her family.” “Lulu was a beautiful princess, the prettiest one Lala had ever seen. She had long, dark hair, bright, green eyes and naturally tanned skin that still managed to glow so bright. And so, Lala followed Lulu around in an attempt to get her attention. But when they touched, Lala felt herself get jitters all over her body, and then she realized something…” The boy's eyes widened to the size of saucers before he yelled out, “They were bound!”

The office was mostly quiet so I could hear them laugh in there, doing whatever women do in a ladies room. A short time before six Lilly left the room and left a large bag by her desk. She was wearing a gorgeous dress, way too classy for some deli-boy. I could see the red on her lips from the lipstick she wore. Her long blonde hair, which usually is up in a tight hairdo, was loose and fell in soft waves down her back.
