School1 Monday night, Ruth had one of those nightmares that psychoanalysts love to make a big deal out of. She dreamt that she was... no, it wasn't she. She dreamt that she was someone else, and she was naked in a public place, with everyone staring and pointing and making noise. She had some books, and a large notebook, and she tried to cover her breasts and crotch, but she dropped them, and people laughed when she couldn't cover herself with her hands. It was a frightening dream. It was just a fragment, really. Ruth figured that everyone has a dream like that sometime.

Daven said "No, i have made you wait too long already. (sighs) Daven i have been having sleepless nights...each day i dream about horrible things and i don't know what it is. Grimmie had died as a teenager, and her whole life had stayed frozen at that age. "You did fine," I murmured reassuringly. I gently brushed her hair. "It's all in the past now, so forget whatever should stay forgotten." She obediently bowed her head and gathered her thoughts for some time before picking up the pen again. His lashes cast shadows under his eyes. I suddenly remembered the day he proposed. He'd dropped to one knee, voice soft. "You're the most brilliant genius I've ever met." I had nightmares in the first few years, but they faded as I got into high school. Finally, my thoughts drift to my mom and dad as they get up to grab the last glass of orange juice from the fridge. I sigh and say, “Spot, we need to go to the store tomorrow before work, buddy.” I grab some water for him and head to my room. Exhaustion finally catches up with me. I take a few sips of the cold juice, place it on the nightstand, and drift off to sleep. Once again, nightmares take over, but this time, it’s not just mom there; Luciano is also present.

He promised to be back in three days. While all this was going on, Aiden was having trouble sleeping. Ever since Anita called him Damien, he had been having trouble sleeping.
