I can’t see anything that looks like a stun roar in the table of contents. “Luna Sera, if I may make a suggestion, it may be listed under a name like paralysis or immobilise.” Leola offers, careful to aim her suggestion to GeGe and not me directly. I read through the list again and see the term immobilisation. My eyes flick up to hers to a second, she gives me a small nod, she knows what’s in the book. I wonder can she read it too. “GeGe, is it only our bloodline that can read the book?” I link carefully, flicking my eyes back to the book then direct out loud. “Page one hundred and thirty-four.”

he looked me up and down with disrespectful eyes. ‘This motherfucker,’ Grace grinned. ‘Ever since that incident, he likes to pretend he doesn’t know you. He’s just a creep.’ “Yes, Logan, this is Selene. Selene, this is Logan. He is the Alpha heir to the Blood Moon pack.” What!? There were two Logans I remembered from the book. One was a party animal and the other was the final villain, the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack. How did Lily get close to the wrong Logan!?

Although I am pretty sure I was frustrating our captivator to kill us sooner than he intended to. “What ?!”, he shrieked and backed away from me instantly as if I was a kind of plague. Homophobic much ? I laughed heartily before chuckling out, “I am just kidding. I am Lex, the Alpha of the Water Moon Pack and …. your nemesis”, I owned up with a growl. “Have your freaking brain cells gone AWOL, Lex ?”, Rowland screamed frantically through the mindlink. “Why the fuck would you tell him that ?!”, he angrily ranted.

Logan’s POV. I finish my morning exercise on the mansion grounds, sweating profusely. My wolf feels this strange sort of excitement because we both know tonight is when we will, by luck, find the moonstone. I can’t wait to possess my full alpha powers once I lay my hands on that stone. I fish out my flagon and draw a sip of water to wet my throat. Just as I’m doing that, I hear the incoming car engine. I gently push the flagon away from my lips and watch as Lester exits the car with hacker, Hanson.

I spat, cracking a geyser in my direction. He dodged. "You come on like a bad ex with ocean powers. Newsflash, Levi—she chose me. She loves me; she had my children and still has my seed smeared on her thighs." He screamed and called down a flood, but Logan sent a zigzagmovement with his sword that split the attack in half. "Hailey is a queen," Logan roared. "You're a leech in saltwater! Unworthy to even put your ugly and deformed sights on her."

Inside, the Soul Reapers were doing their own version of gearing up, which mostly looked like grown men taking the piss out of each other at increasing volume while they located their gear. Khyle had been in the door approximately ninety seconds when Logan found him. Logan was the team's goaltender. Red haired, loud, and possessed of a sense of humor that existed somewhere on the spectrum between genuinely funny and deeply disturbing, with very little warning about which direction it was going to go on any given morning. He was also, in Khyle's developing opinion, completely feral. The damp towel came off Logan's waist and hit Khyle in the face before he'd even cleared the doorway properly.

Logan suddenly said, looking a t Brittany through the mirror. My head snapped to face Brittany's shocked face as she screamed. "What the fuck Logan? That's personal!" "I know so I didn't read it but you know I'm a human so I couldn't help my curiosity and flipped through pages." He said, looking at her smugly through the mirror. "What did you read?" She demanded, her voice rising a notch higher. Logan gave her a smirk. "That's for me to know and you to tell us." "You are so fucking dead when we get down." She sworn, already starting to hit him from behind.
