Dark Horse

I shrugged and replied: ' OK, creep, cut the chase, why are you so engrossed with being my friend?' The reply was instantaneous ' I'm not sure if ' creep' defines me caring and I'm not 'engrossed' with you. I just want to be your friend.' Knowing I wouldn't win this fight, I said: 'fine. You're still a creep. See you tomorrow then.'

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

I nuzzled it and cooed at the bright yellow animal with hints of scales on its body. “It’s a hippocampi,” Poseidon spoke loudly behind us, making me jump. Luci gripped me tightly. Clearing his throat, Poseidon stepped away, scratching his head. “Sorry, it’s a hippocampi. Half horse, with a siren tail. It couldn’t be any fish,” he hurried his words. “It had to be strong to be able to push through its hooves because streamlining is near impossible for this animal.” Posideon turned his back and hurried away.

Butterflies

Butterflies

I'd taken a step charged with energy, using it as a momentum for charging through the air, right after I sent a few telepathic words to the Scorpion Tail Chameleon which caused its eyes to glow in anticipation. * * * The Scarlet Ape was a savage beast known for its dominative power in extremely rural places. In the early days, people had identified this beast to be both an assault and agility-type savage beast. It had a high offensive and defensive power, such that left other animals avoiding its territory as much as they could. However, one thing that was more significant about it was that, it was an all rage no brains! It struck according to instincts, never taking the time to evaluate a b

Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

I looked down at my black stilettos, then looked back up at him. “Really, Corpseboy?” “Hello, Miss Washington intern. Don't you look professional. It compliments my suit. Now, out to dinner. PALLOR!” Samael hollered. A fierce neigh came from the woods, followed by light clopping. His blue roan whinnied, prancing towards Samael. “No, Pallor, be fierce. Buck up: you're Death's steed, after all,” Samael said proudly, watching as his horse bore himself with pride, charging forwards-

Mated To His Slave

Mated To His Slave

I don't understand why he can't accept her. I walked towards the huge mass building and picked a horse. Night, a rare breed horse noted for its speed, strength and agility. "My Lord, you look upset by this time of the day, I hope all is well," Oscar, the manager of the building, walked up to me. "I am fine. I just need to clear my head and Night is the right horse to knock some senses back to me," I said nonchalantly as I got on the horse. "Please be careful, my Lord," he bowed and returned back to business. I lashed at the horse and it neighed running towards the mountains.

" Baby, See what that psycho did to me. She burnt my beautiful skin. I am not going to let her get away with it. She must pay for hurting me. What do you say, I send her a doctor's letter for her to compensate me for the damage she made?" Maya knew the truth but of course, Alex chose to believe what he saw. He never questioned his vision. Hence, Maya found a free horse to ride on, just for her amusement. Upon hearing her words, Alex's fist clenched into a ball. He shouldn't be missing that vicious woman.

His Unlovable Mate

His Unlovable Mate

Marcus builds it up, making us all wait. “Pepper and Biscuit? I’ll have you know those mighty animals are named Apollo and Helios. Gods! They’re the gods of the horse world. Pepper and Biscuit? Shame on you!” I look at Ayr and see his blue eyes twinkling with amusement, a smile playing on his face. I can’t help laughing, the beer and good food kicking in. “But what if I want to borrow that nice brown horse of yours next?” “You mean Ares,” he answered haughtily. “His name is Ares because he’s a noble, epic steed. Like his rider,” pointing at himself and adding a wink for extra foolishness.

This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions! I can’t honestly say I’ve never heard a story line like this. The story captures you in the first few chapters and have you chase a high that seems to come and then leave just like that. What an amazing journey this book has taken me on. U must read.

Good writing. Excellent world building and storytelling voice. Characters are really interesting, each has their own characteristics. I’m happy this was worth the purchase. A mixture of scenery and to the point dialect. Just work on punctuation placements in areas, this will help with flow.

Lilitu: The Memoirs of a Succubus

Lilitu: The Memoirs of a Succubus

I recognized it immediately as the Snickering Bovine. All that stood between us and it was a group of infected Mekrans, flailing toothsome tentacles and axe-like hands. “Wait,” said Loretta, and pointed to a pair of abandoned clockwork horses. They stood completely stationary only a few feet away. Sven mounted one, and Loretta hopped up behind him, holding on to his torso. I took the other horse. Sven kicked a lever with his boot, and the horse sprung to life. He galloped into the crowd of Uncivil. I did the same on my own steed, and soon the we were riding through the sea of monsters, slashing them as we went.

The King's Dark Obsession

The King's Dark Obsession

' His eyes shone in evil glint and excitement when all of a sudden Sasha's horse neighed and raised his two legs up in the air. "Hoo, calm down, boy." Sasha rubbed his neck but he seemed to grow more frantic for some reason. "Let me ride it," Luan said and Sasha shook her head, trying to calm her horse. "He is quite a rogue, it took me time to tame him. He doesn't let anyone ride him." "He must have sensed danger," Sasha said and kept trying to calm her horse down until the white Stallion finally relaxed. It must have sensed an evil energy. The killer must be near.

Frequently Asked Questions

The SCP Foundation is a fascinating universe filled with a wide range of bizarre and sometimes terrifying entities, and as of now, there are over 6,000 SCP entries documented. Each one is a unique creation, whether it's a strange object, creature, or phenomenon that defies the laws of nature. I find the creativity behind these entries absolutely incredible. What's even cooler is that the community constantly contributes new ideas and narratives, so the number keeps growing.

The various SCPs range from the eerie, like 'SCP-173', famously known as the ‘Sculpture’ that moves only when not observed, to the more whimsical ones such as 'SCP-999', the ‘Tickle Monster’, who spreads joy and laughter. Each entry usually comes with a detailed containment procedure, explaining how the SCP should be handled or contained to prevent it from causing harm. I love how this blends horror with an almost scientific approach, creating a really unique storytelling style.

Exploring the SCP entries is like diving into an ocean of creativity. The sheer diversity in themes is astounding, and each one has its own backstory, style, and tone. Whether you’re looking for something deeply unsettling or just offbeat and funny, there’s an SCP for everyone. I appreciate how this community encourages collaboration, where writers bounce ideas off each other and create expansive lore that fans can dive into.

The SCP Foundation offers more than just stories; it's a whole layer of world-building that meshes elements of horror, science fiction, and even philosophy. Each SCP can make you think about human nature, the unknown, and the limits of knowledge. The Foundation's format of reports and addenda adds to the eerie sense of realism, making it easy to get lost in their world for hours. I often find myself browsing the site late into the night, discovering new SCPs and the wild narratives behind them.

Ultimately, the SCP Foundation is an ever-expanding universe that I believe will continue to intrigue fans for years to come, with its ever-growing roster of mysterious entities and the rich tales associated with each of them. It's a playground for imagination and creativity that celebrates the strange and unknown!
