Knight had a split second to frantically wonder if the other man was hit before he, too, fell, the ground disappearing beneath his feet. The wrenching sensation of a teleport was as terrible as the last time he’d gone through one. It was as if his entire body was turned inside out for an impossible moment before the world settled itself again, even if his stomach didn’t immediately follow suit. It was like staring into the abyss, and the abyss was staring back. The others—Kael, and Sophia—were somewhere behind us, but I couldn’t focus on them. Let me tell you it never felt more true then at this very moment. I touch all over the walls, try removing the floorboard piece, everything, but can't find one ounce of a secret compartment. The elevator dings and when I look at the down and up arrows, I see the down arrow lit up. Someone is getting on the elevator from downstairs. I look frantically and hope I can locate what I need soon. I'm not sure how much longer I can last in here. Lower and lower the elevator falls and that's when it hits me. I look up and see mirrors upon mirrors. My reflection looks that of fear. "Look at yourself when you feel like you can't go on anymore Belle. Find the bravery within."

From the ground floor, I gazed up at the hotel's top. "What am I even doing here?" I murmured. "Hey..." I spotted a boy coming down from the 13th story of the building. My entire body began to feel cold. "Should I have a look? It'll be fine if I take a quick look, right?" I said to myself in hushed tones. Chapter 57: The Abyss The darkness was absolute. Liam and Xal'dar were swallowed whole, their consciousness adrift in a void of nothingness. The sensation was both terrifying and liberating, a paradoxical experience that defied logic. They felt a pull, a force that seemed to draw them deeper into the abyss. Their bodies felt weightless, their minds racing with fear and uncertainty. They were lost, adrift in a cosmic ocean of darkness. A faint glimmer of light appeared in the distance, a beacon in the endless void. They reached out towards it, their hearts pounding in their chests. As they drew closer, the light grew brighter, revealing a strange, alien landscape.

He felt as though he's staring right into his soul and all he could see was pitch black; if Andy could fall into the abyss of his father's soul, he'll keep on falling forever without reaching the bottom of it. As Andy stood there, staring into his father's eyes, he felt as though he was falling into a dark and endless abyss. The longer he looked, the deeper he fell, and the colder he felt. It was as if he was being swallowed up by the darkness, and he couldn't find his way out — Andy was quick to snap out of his thought.
