"This is Bun Bun." "Bun Bun," Mei said, her face perfectly serious on the screen. "He's cute." "She," Liyana corrected, very firm about it. "She. Obviously. I'm so sorry, Bun Bun." Mei bowed her head to the camera in apology, and Liyana accepted it with a small, gracious nod before setting the rabbit down and reaching for the next item in her rotation, a small brown bear missing one eye, clearly the most important object in her current universe. "This is Teddy," she announced.

I was just fifteen my wolf still a restless, half formed shadow. I was running towards the stone fountain, my heart hammering against my ribs because I had heard the scream. “Mum… mummm!” I screamed as I kept running at my best pace. I kept hearing the gurgling, desperate sound of someone losing their fight for air. I burst through the Willow branches and froze. My mother Miranda, the rightful Luna, the woman who had birthed me, was pinned face down in the freezing water of the fountain. Her fingers clawed weakly at the stone lip, her silver hair floating like dead weeds.

Just looking at his face made me nauseous. I pursed my lips tightly and, with heavy steps, approached the high platform before climbing onto it. I was still trying to steady myself when a figure suddenly leaped from the ground and landed on the platform—more than a hundred feet high. My eyes widened in shock as I recognized the burly man, his body rippling with muscles. Then he spoke, his voice loud enough to shake mountains and stir the oceans. “Today, we are going to witness another memorable day in our pack. Today, we are going to crown our Luna. Everyone, cheer!”

Nagpapalitan sila ng mensahe ni Martin bandang alas-nuwebe na ng umaga. 'Hindi ka busy? Wala ka bang klase?' 'Break time. May ten minutes pa naman bago ang susunod kong klase.'

He question as he motioned with his hand for us to leave the tent. "What's with the little fox nickname?" I queried as we exited the tent. He opened the boot of a relatively expensive looking Aldi Q7, and threw the suitcase in as though it weighed nothing. "You remind me of one." He shrugged and expanded on his explanation. "They have white hair, and often have two different coloured eyes." He concluded, closing the boot.

“What kind of things?” “Well, for starters we all have our own thing we like to do. Most Luna’s, like those before me, had different areas they excelled at. It is our responsibility to find a way to help the pack, by improving something. It can be multiple things, or even just one single thing. Think of it as a project. It can be something that needs created, or just improved.” She paused to take a drink from her orange juice.

She continued and it was as if I saw Andrè’s eyes sparkle a bit with his chest pushed out but I decided to think against it. “Then the Beta’s mate, doing the work of a Luna, to her Beta, is also a best friend and sole protector to the Luna, the Beta Princess. Most times, they are close.” She said with a wink and I smiled, I had heard someone call her that, the Luna would be so lucky to have s friend like her. But why did they give themselves those weird names? “Moving on to the third in command, the Gamma. He is most times, also the sole protector to the Luna, just like in this case. And he also trains the warriors.” It felt like an enjoyable lecture, everyone seemed to be getting excited.
