Lords Book Novels & Stories

the librarian spoke as he arranged them in a particular order, “are in the reading order. You should get all required information in book one, but you can more information in others as well.” “Thanks,” Arthur muttered. “And it would be great if you can keep this between us,” he requested. “You are my lord, sire. This is all yours,” the librarian pointed around. “People don’t need to know when you take something that is already yours. It is your business, not theirs.” And with another bow, he left. Arthur was all alone in the library. It felt haunted. Arthur knew he should read all the books the old librarian had left for him, but something in the ominous environment made him sleepy.

"What library?" "Oh, his highness has a library in his quarters. All the books have his Royal crest on them" he gestured to the intricate design that made the dark coated cover of the book look even more mysterious to my curious mind. There was a library in the castle? It had never occured to me that the books would be from the library and if it indeed did belong to Darius then that meant he was the one who kept leaving me those books to find. I wanted to test out my theory, "Could you show me where it is please Lord Anthony?" I asked watching as his eyes shot up to meet mine, a certain glint igniting in the depths of those hazelnut eyes. "If you don't mind of course"

On the altar, there was a large book made of human skin. Alexander explained to them that the book was the Book of Eden, a holy book that contained all the knowledge and secrets about vampires. The book was written by the first vampire who created the island, and could only be read by his descendants. Alexander was the only one who could open and read the book. Alexander said that he wanted to share the contents of the book with Victoria and Lily, because he felt that they were special people who deserved to know the truth about vampires. He also said that he had a special feeling for Victoria, and he wanted to make her his partner.

I responded, I continued with the search burying my eyes back into the shelf again. The old library was loaded with different books. Histories of how the kings came from the forest to this land and how it was inhabited by werewolves. In the pure-blood werewolf image, I saw a small book without the name of the author on it. The author wrote that he had a secret about the palace that no one knew. I took the book and hid it in my clothes, then continued my search by the time I got the books I thought might be helpful. I went to Liam to help him but he was almost done too by the time I got to him.

Lorcan POV Karyl and I had been searching for what felt like an eternity, scouring every corner of the kingdom and the human world for the ancient book. It was our only hope for defeating my father, Lucifer, and saving both worlds from his evil clutches. The book, said to hold the secrets of the ancient ones, was rumored to have the power to vanquish any darkness, no matter how powerful. And we knew that we needed all the help we could get if we were going to take down my father's formidable forces.

In fact, I felt guilty, like I had messed up the window. “I guess we have to thank the witches for their amazing powers,” he said. I nod my head, walking to the books. “So, where do we find books about Lux?” I asked. “This library contains books about past alphas and everything they did. I have never come across Lux books,” he said. “So, how do we find it?” I asked.

The floor is pure white stone, cold as winter snow under my bare feet. In the dead centre sits the obsidian table. On top of it lies the black book. It is massive, bound in iron and dragon-hide, requiring the strength of two alpha lycans just to shift it from the stone. But only royal blood can break the seal. I place my right palm flat against the cold leather. "Adriel of the House of Luperca." The iron clasps snap open with a loud click. The pages begin to turn on their own, flipping through centuries of dead kings and forgotten wars until they stop at my own generation.

The place looked like it held more than a thousand books all placed neatly in these large rows of book shelves. No wonder Kim had been holding a novel, her family must be filled with bookworms to have a home library like this. “The Vampire section is this side,” Kim stated, leading us to the other side. I even started being grateful that she was here, for we would have not known where to start searching. “Exactly what book is it that you need,” she asked, with less rudeness in her voice actually looking more relaxed at being surrounded by books. “The one, of my mother`s encounter with the Magical White Lion.” Luke replied,

I added, and he nodded slowly. “That’s right.” He uttered sadly. “Let’s change the topic. Will I be able to find books related to politics and royalty in the library?” I asked. “Yes, of course. It’s a library. There’s a particular book titled ‘How to be a Successful King’. I think it’s Lucian’s favorite.” He answered, and I raised my eyebrows. “So he gets it from a book?” “Well, he’s naturally intelligent, so the book doesn’t do as much as you think it does.” He told me.

He smiled, seeing my confused face. "They love to play pranks on me all the time. Saying that they want my stern face to soften up even for a bit." He genuinely chuckled while saying that. I could already feel how much they loved my mate, even without meeting them directly. "This book." He started to sound serious while tapping the book in front of us. "It is the North's ancient history itself. It contains all of what one Lord should know to rule efficiently. Every secret, curse, prophecy, and power itself."
