“Do you think I stand a chance?” But silence was an answer to her question, Alex wasn’t paying any attention, rather his eyes were fixed on the stage, locked on Davis, his jaw tightening. “Have I met him before?” he murmured. The room hummed with chatter and cheer as models revealed their cards one after another, waiting for the final announcement. “The lucky winner is...” Mr. Samson paused on air, his gaze sweeping across the raised cards, until it stopped on Caro’s. At that same moment, Davis flipped his card open too, as if their timing were planned, as if they were set on a time bomb.

For someone who fed off other people’s fear, being ignored was the worst punishment. From the corner of my eye, I noticed a smirk tugging at Tricia’s lips. She leaned into it, taking in the scene like she was watching her favorite movie. “That is what you are. A… looseeeeeerrrr.” She dragged the word until it sounded ugly in my ears. Adrian’s tone heightened, sharp and mocking this time. “Loser. Loser. Loser…” He gestured on the students with his hand, and, like sheep, they joined in.

Stephen asked. "Say something. Why did you do that?” Paul said. Cyrus shook his head and muttered, “Bro, we have been looking forward to this day for a long time. Everyone knows no one can beat us. We have always been the winners. Why did you deliberately lose the game?” Roland pushed Cyrus away from his side and looked at Ian. His hands were still holding Ian's collar. He said, “Do you know what they are going to call us? Losers. How could you miss that simple shot? You gave them so many chances to score. You even blocked your own players so that they could score every single time to match our score. Is this how a captain should play?”

Knoxville's face darkened, his eyes blazing with intensity. He took a deep breath, his fist clenched together, as if restraining himself from lashing out. "I don't believe you can win," he growled. "Once a loser, always a loser. You've always been a loser, and I won't watch you win." Maxwell burst into laughter, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I guess I should have known who I'm dealing with," he said, chuckling. "I forgot you're a stone that can't be broken easily."

"Of course. She's probably jealous that Alex and Sasha are getting close. "This is probably just an act to get his attention. Leave her alone; I'd like to see what other acts she has up her sleeve." Liam had a thing for Sasha, and this was his way of helping her get back at me. In the end, I died in the lounge. The three men didn't notice something was amiss until I had laid stiffly and lifelessly on the ground for ten whole minutes. They blanched when they realized I truly wasn't breathing.

AURORA POV The host’s voice echoed across the hall. "And the winner of this year’s Miss Goddess Beauty is… Aurora!" The room erupted into cheers and clapping as I stepped forward, a proud smile on my face. I glanced at Liliana, the Alpha’s daughter from the Silver Crown Pack, who stood beside me as the first runner-up. She clapped too, but her stiff smile showed how much she hated losing. For a moment, pride surged through me. I had won, it's more like a dream come through.
