" I asked as I tried to catch my breath. "You have the Lycan gene," the doctor said. I shook my head slowly, rejecting the idea. "There is no way," I said. Cain stood from his chair and took the clipboard from the doctor. He examined the contents of the piece of paper with an intense look on his face. "Can I read it?" I asked him. I felt my heart in my throat as Cain handed me the clipboard. I grabbed it from him with shaking hands. As I read over the various numbers and data lines, I realized very quickly that I hardly understood any of it.

" What's your name? " " Samantha " The lady replied with a soft tiny voice. She look away from Maximo for some seconds,not wanting to get completely mesmerized by the beauty she saw in those eyes of the Italian Mafia Boss. He was sitting still on the couch in his spacious, grandiose living room with a Cuban cigar on his lips. He wore a thick black jacket that fell and was swirls on top of the ever expensive boots he wore. There is nothing one might compare to the beauty in Maximo's steady eyes that morning.

The smile on her face was so bright, and the side of her lips were twitching as she fought back the tears. Kylian, Oliver, and Jayden shifted too. We stormed out of the territory, running as our lives depended on it. I’m leading the way because I have Mom’s scent, so I’m tracing her with it. “We are close,” I tell them through the mindlink. I see Adrian’s car, destroyed. It looks like they collided with a train. If it is a human driving that car, they would be crushed into pieces. We looked around but we didn’t see anyone. I shift back to my human form, wearing my shorts. Pulling into the driveway and parking outfront, Creed and Ryan hop out of the car and stretch their legs like they've been sitting for hours. “ Are you going to get out of the car or are we just pouting over our own decisions all day?” Creed asked opening my door “ Shut up Creed. Just then, a girl, much taller than me appeared next to her, she had short hair, styled in a short side comb, and she was wearing a black tank top and jeans that rode around her hips, honestly, she was dressed like a guy and she looked hot too. "She's the one that you wanted to sit with?" she asked in a grumpy tone. "Yes babe," she grabbed her hand and pulled her down into the chair. "This is Carl." "Carl?" I blurted out, unable to hold back my shock. "Carly really but she likes to be called Carl." Celeste commented. "You got a problem with that?" she asked with the same grumpy tone as before. "No I was just surprised," I extended an arm, "nice to meet you." I smiled.
