Hesalth stopped her. --- When Ludwig woke up, he turned his face to scan the place he was in. The room was warm and cozy with warm red and grey walls and wooden floor. A hearth burned across the wall in front of him keeping the place warm. He was covered with thick blankets and furs to warm his body. He felt that he had been given a nice bath. Her smell… He made efforts to get up but couldn’t. Her scent was wafting around him.

Sophie’s POV I woke up with my heart already racing. The mansion was too quiet, the kind of silence that felt heavy with warning.
