Laura and I went to her room, which was the basement. She held the door open for me and waited until I was in before she stepped in and closed the door. I watched as she locked it with extra locks I had not seen before. I glanced around the basement. Vice was in bed, sleeping under the covers with an eye mask covering his eyes, a vampire eyes printed on the fabric to make it look like as if he was seeing up. The one window was boarded up, and I had noticed a while back that they made sure not a single ray of sunlight snuck into the room.
