Napapalibutan ng tungkol sa politika si Marina Hidalgo, isang vice mayor ang kanyang ina at isa namang attorney sa public attorney’s office ang ama niya. Galing siya sa pamilyang matagal nang nagseserbisyo sa gobyerno, ngunit iba ang tumatakbo sa kanyang isipan at plano niya sa kanyang buhay.
