I would never hurt you.” Alison stared at Nick’s extended hand while she debated what to do. Her body trembled and her hand shook uncontrollably as she reached once more through the icy air to touch him. He took her hand in his. At first, she felt nothing. Then, slowly, she could feel the substance of him. It wasn’t the same as if he was in his mundane body, but it was there. Surprised, she gasped and pulled away. Circling him again, she poked at him with her finger, but her hand moved right through him.

Adeline’s POV The sun started setting by the time I reached home, I pull up to my driveway and turn off the ignition. I let out a sigh feeling anxious. I know once I step foot in the house mum and dad would begin the whole conversation of the whole marriage ideal.
