4 I don't write poems or anything, but a guy I dated a while back did. He even gave me one, and I still have it. It's a poem with all the stuff saying " I love you " and " I'll never let you go ". But he did, and cheated on me. I still keep it because he was the first person who made me feel loved. And it was the first meaningful gift a guy has ever given to me. I can't part with it yet. Maybe I can though? 24

Love; the word felt as though it was too easily thrown from mouth to mouth, but his mind couldn't help but wander to the antiquated words of Edmund Spenser. "My Love is like to ice, and I to fire: How comes it then that this her cold so great-Is not dissolved through my so hot desire, But stronger grows the more I her entreat? Or how comes it that my exceeding heat is not allayed by her heart-frozen cold, But that I burn much more in boiling sweat, and feel my flames augmented manifold? I love you for all you have been doing for me, you are indeed my dream come true. My love for you is a permanent thing. I will continue to love you with my last breath. I count myself lucky for having a unique being like you as my lover. When I look at myself in the mirror, I always see your picture reflecting through me. My image is not complete without you because we have been joined together and now we are inseparable. You have charmed me with your love, you have infected the whole of me with your love and I want to let you know that I will love you forever.
