Joan gasped and opened her eyes. She really needed to get gloves or something. This time she was still in the cave but it was dark and dimly lit by a candle stand in the room. She looked around and found no one. The place was really creeping her out and she wanted to go back. Joan's eyes wandered till it landed on a table, the spooky book she had touched earlier was opened on the table. She moved closer so she could see clearly what was written in the book. Joan gasped when she saw the content, it was about rituals of how to take the child of the prophecy powers using dark magic. There were drawing illustrations that creeped her out the most.

The book title was; A DEMON IN LOVE It made her Chuckle... seriously? Can a demon really love. She wanted to leave the book there but somehow she couldn't. Was she compelled? She shook those thoughts out and picked the Novel, shoving it into her bag. Maybe the book was just too intriguing. She smiled. Are you done? Sylvia asked as she walked to Roxanne. Yes, but I think I'll be taking this one with me. Roxanne flashed her teeth. Since when did you start reading about Wolf's and Lycanthropy. Sylvia asked with widened eyes.

With some effort, I managed to push it open, revealing an enormous underground chamber. My breath caught in my throat. The chamber was filled with rows upon rows of old books and scrolls—an ancient library dedicated to werewolf lore and magic. The walls were lined with shelves crammed with forgotten knowledge, and in the center of the room stood a large, intricately carved table covered in tomes and manuscripts. I approached the table, my eyes scanning the titles. Many of the books were written in old, nearly forgotten languages, but one tome caught my attention. It was bound in dark leather, the title barely legible: "The Lament of the Moon."

Redwood chose not to engage in a confrontation, knowing the consequences of his heightened anger. Instead, he allowed them to escape. After days of research, he finally stumbled upon a book titled "Lycanthrope." Like other ancient books, it featured a strange engraving of a wolf with a half-human body, standing on its back legs, howling with its face turned upward and arms outstretched. This book contained all the crucial information he had been searching for. It began with a specific line "A tale of a greedy father and his innocent daughter. If one were to come across this book, they would soon realize that they could never rid themselves of it.

Vera loved the sound of it and so, she quickly opened the book and began reading. CHAPTER ONE….

After that I walked into the lecture hall about ten minutes late for classes. Instead of the calm I expected to see, the entire hall was louder than normal. The professor hadn't arrived yet. The girls were clustered in groups and whispering fast with soft giggles. Guys leaned over desks with their phones out, showing each other something. “Did you see him yet?” one girl asked her friend. “They say he’s from the UK." Her friend squealed a reply. "He's so hot. And I heard he wrote like three books on advanced dynamics.”

I can see her eyes moving as she is flipping and scanning the pages of the book, 'Lycaea' that I had purchased at a greek-myths-inspired store near the neighborhood. Lycaea is a book about the ancient beings; werewolves or lycanthropes. What they are, where they come from, how did they come to life, birth and death. Merely just everything about them. The book has this weird carvings in the interface, almost as if it was carved out straight from a leather. The name Priam could be seen at the spine of the book. I wonder if it was the author of Lycaea. Aside from that name, nothing is carved aside from the design the outer cover of the book has. "You even bought a book huh?" she added, smirking

It’s an old leather-bound book, with a red leather cover and a gold emblem on the front, she turns it to read the spine, “The Parrot and the Hunter. Is this a children’s book or a weird shifter romance novel?” Morpheus laughs, and she sits down and opens it, “Ah, romance novel.” She taps it thoughtfully, “No pictures.” She smiles as Sol flushes and she curls up on the sofa to read, she flips through, “Oh, my apologies, there are pictures.” Sol groans as she takes in the etching of two people clearly fucking each other senseless. “Informative pictures.” Morpheus laughs hard,

He shifts back; putting a seat between us and truly looking horrified.
