Loyal Knight Block Tales Novels & Stories

“I know all about you! An Ezealyran who disappeared one day and is now the knight of the Slorian army. The strongest one of the lot!” In a swift move, he places a cut of Leo’s arm. Leo winces but does not let the pain affect him and uses his shield to block more attacks. “Fight me, knight!” Taurus snarls. “Fight!” A crazed psycho, Taurus hits the shield with his brute strength and cracks it. Leo snarls and ditches the shield, deflecting the attacks with his sword. “Once you die, I’ll ravage through the city and destroy it!” Taurus taunts him in-between all the attacks. “You have a mate, right? What’ll happen to her once you die?”

Aaron gave out a sheepish smile as he absently scratched the back of his neck. His blue eyes quickly darted from left to right, trying unsuccessfully to avoid eye contact with Arthur who was seated right in front of him. Unfortunately for Aaron, his face mirrored the guilt that he was feeling. As the resident trouble maker for the Knight family, Aaron falls into trouble easily. Perhaps, a little bit too easily. He couldn't avoid them no matter how hard he tried, mischief always has a way of finding him at every turn.

He loved listening to stories, especially ones about knights and heroes. Rory began to speak, her words weaving a tale of Sir Lancelot and King Arthur. She spoke of how Sir Lancelot had been the bravest and most loyal of all the knights, always ready to defend his king and his country. Marcus listened with rapt attention, his mind filled with images of sword fights and daring rescues. He could almost hear the clash of steel as Sir Lancelot battled his enemies and the cheers of the crowds as he rode through the streets.

I felt his presence, silently and faithfully fulfilling his duty to protect me, putting just enough distance between us. Jonathan had become more like a guardian angel than a knight. He was always there, quietly serving me with the best of his ability. He stayed even when there were times when he gets hurt. I now understood why he was willing to do anything for me. He was the warrior assigned to me all along, my own warrior and protector. Even if I’m better now and he could have resigned, he didn’t do it. ‘What kind of reward do you want me to give you for the loyalty you have shown me?’ I asked him three months ago. It was before the swimming party, during the time when I properly gave the

I carve a single word into the brick behind them with my knife. “Loyalty.” Not in blood. Not this time. But the message is still clear. The Queen doesn’t need to get her hands dirty. Because the man who loves her will do it for her. I wash up in the hall bathroom. My knuckles are raw. Blood under my nails. I don’t feel guilt. Not even a little. But I do feel centered. Like I’ve done something that matters. When I come back to her room, she’s awake. Sitting up. Eyes tired. Hair a mess.

"State your name and business!" "I am the Shadow Knight," he replied, letting power resonate through the words. "I seek Lord Blackmoor's heir. We share common enemies." The scouts exchanged glances. One wheeled his mount, galloping back toward the keep. The others formed a loose circle, blessed crossbows trained on him but fingers carefully off triggers. "You're the one from the stories," another scout said. "The knight who fell to darkness. Who slaughtered an entire Inquisition unit at the crossroads."

If he wanted to warn us about the possible danger and risk we’re in, then he’d resort to someone else, maybe Alpha or his beta, the silver-haired man I once met. There was something ominous about him. And maybe it was because of Knight. General Rui, as Knight emphasized time and time again, was a man loyal to the kingdom. Thus, he wasn’t sure where his loyalties lie. To his own or to the royals. If he had a decent amount of morale and empathy, he wouldn’t put us into trouble…He promised this to me as well. “I came here for one thing, Amethyst…and…” “And?” He inhaled and pulled a scroll inside his armor. I automatically leaned forward, curious. “Read this…there’s no better explanation,”

He understood that Jun cannot be associated with anything illegal, that boy was too fragile for this world to even try anything like that. Yeon let out a small sigh, mumbling a small apology once again. There were lots of thoughts going through his mind, but in the end, Yeon decided to just let faith decide their path. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

But strangely, this one didn’t feel like the same kind of threat. “Let go of me,” she said, although it came out as a whisper. The man’s breathing had changed, become erratic, like controlled chaos. He had recognized the drug almost immediately, laughing at the mere foolishness of it. Firstly, that a mere drug could ever leave him a slave to his body, and secondly, that they were dead come morning. But the unnatural heat in his blood, and the fog in his mind that this person occupied told a different story.
