I’m running on too little sleep to sort through all this right now. Though I’d be stupid not to consider it. Lucas could very well be killing witches. He’s been around long enough to have fought in the War of Light and Dark; even though he told me he wasn’t a part of it, he could be lying. He could be trying to get revenge on witches for nearly eliminating all vampires. “Then what does the demon have to do with this?” I shake my head. “None of this makes sense yet I know it’s connected somehow.”

They almost caught him following his car but an accident happen. Lucia and Lucas were twins. They were inseparable, they got each others back always helping each other. Some people tends to bully Lucas because of his weak figure but because of Lucia they just abolish the idea they don't want to deal with a tiger. There were no secrets between them even though Lucia was a social butterfly, while Lucas was a wall flower they were loved by the people around them and they were very pampered by their parents.

The above sentences are the thoughts of the author about what he thinks, but it is my duty to tell all the things he has in his mind. You might have so many questions and confusions about the fact that I puzzle a simple story in what we call a Riddle…? But you can still believe in me that I'll give you a gift tomorrow.

The tension in the room turned cold. “I mean,” Lucas said casually, slicing a piece of waffle, “depending on what version of the story she told you.” “Lucas.” I warned. I did not have the energy to deal with this right now. “What?” He bit off another piece, not looking at me. “We’re all telling stories now, aren’t we? Might as well get the good ones out.” “Not in front of the kids.” I said through gritted teeth. What was with him today?

“Talk to me.” I folded my hands together. “When I was little, Mara used to tell me stories. Not the ones about the Moon Goddess everyone told their children. Different ones. About spirits that didn’t belong to the sky or the earth. About bargains made in blood and memory.” Lucas went still. “She said they weren’t evil,” I continued. “Just hungry. And that the worst ones didn’t force their way in. They waited to be invited.” Lucas exhaled slowly. “And you think—”

“That’s…that’s…incredible, but I can’t imagine what life was like for you.” “You don’t want to imagine it. Now…why do the blinds startle you so much?” “Talking about my messed-up childhood after finding out you fought in the Colosseum doesn’t measure up.” Lucas laughs softly. “My past was a long time ago. I’ve made peace with it. Killing the man who paid for me to become a Vampire Champion helped. Maybe you could try—”

I threw casually. He chuckled loudly, “Brilliant.” He said, “but making an enemy out of me, incredibly dull move.” “But heres what you don't know Victoria. I am thankful for you. And that is why i need you to do me a favor.” He casually threw his arm around me saying. “What are you talking about?” I narrowed my eyes asking. “Its simple,” he circled me, with his hands clasped behind. “Years ago, Lucas fled with a girl named Magdalene,” he said. “He left everything behind, including the family name.”

Lucas demanded? If it is anyone else, then Michael would have punished them for talking to him like this. But this is Lucas, who is like his son, he can never hurt him. Lucas is still a little sore over the fact that he hid about the details of his birth for so long. When he found out about the truth, he refused to talk to Michael for 2 years. In that time he started his business and became successful.

Loraz Chip said to Lucas with a sweet smile. Lucas nodded. "Then please do a self-introduction." "I'm Lucas York." Lucas said only four words for his self-introduction. Throughout the entire class, Loraz was explaining to the students how chaotic the world was. Naturally, Lucas was not interested to listen to it. "Lucas, you seemed like you're not interested at all." Loraz said to Lucas. Lucas' stunning face remained composed. "Miss Chip, I've killed countless of Dark Races, so, do you think I'll be interested?"

“I just… I didn’t tell you everything. But I swear, I’m trying to help you. I’m on your side.” His words did little to ease the fear gnawing at my insides. I took another step back, my mind racing. I wanted to believe him. I wanted to believe that he was still the same person who had promised to help me escape. But the weapons, the men—they told a different story. “Who are they?” I asked again, my voice trembling. “Tell me the truth.” Lucas ran a hand through his hair, his face tight with frustration. “They’re hunters,” he admitted finally, his voice low. “But they’re not here for you.”
