Garrick shoved her against the rough wall, his breath hot on her neck, callused fingers tracing her collarbone. 'You'll taste so sweet... scream for us.' His lips descended toward hers, rough and demanding—but the door exploded inward with a splintering crash. There stood Lucien, the vampire, his lithe frame filling the frame, crimson eyes glowing like embers in the abyss. Fangs glinted as he bared them, a low hiss escaping his throat.
