Blake said with a smile. Confusion was seen upon the men’s faces. They shrugged their shoulders to one another as no one knew who Blake meant. It was not like they were supposed to know who Lucy was. “Lucifer. He is referring to Lucifer.” Goddess Maia called out as she arrived, flying in their direction, looking disheartened. Blake was taking away her sparing partners. Confusion was still upon the men when Maia said who Lucy was. They had never known that Lucifer was a woman. It was assumed that Lucifer was a male angel from the beginning and was cast out of Heaven by Michael.

The original peace treaty still lay in the position it had millenniums beforehand, untouched by visitors. Dusty pages flipped silently. Words flew threw his mind at inhuman speed. He had been reading about the unwritten rule of pureblood angels. These angels were to only be royalty, however it came with a deadly price. Many of these newborns were ticking time bombs of anguish and destruction, having the power to level entire cities. Some never made it past infancy. This caused a very large shortage in heirs to the throne, with only one child surviving every millennium.

He could scent her fear. "I...I..". Her lips trembled as she couldn't find the right words to say. He was standing dangerously close to her, entrapping her between the wall and his big frame. "Then leave if it isn't" Lucifer said and she knew she couldn't. If she leaves now his brother Lucian would find out that she was spying on him.

“Can he die? Like, really, truly die?” Persephone sits up and immediately checks the room. Her gaze sweeps every shadow, every corner. I pulse my magic through the warding. Still intact. She scoots closer and whispers, “Lucifer can be killed. But only by a celestial being from his own mythology. An angel. Or the Christian God himself.” “Oh, good,” I deadpan. “That’s so convenient. I’ll just go pray and ask God to send one down.” Persephone smacks my arm. “No need to be a bitch about it. I’m just telling you how it works.”

He glared at me, and flames of anger shot through him. I coughed aggressively as my lungs cherished each breath I took. I warped my hands around my neck, rubbing it to ease the pain. Lucifer’s jaw clenched as he removed his hand, my eyes widened in shock when I noticed the blood oozing down his face. The cut I gave him started from his left eye and stretched until his cheek. It will leave a mark. I thought to myself. Lucifer reached into his suit jacket and pulled out a handkerchief. He wiped away the blood from his face and hands as his eyes remained on me.

The air was thick with the stench of blood and sulfur, a choking miasma that clung to every surface. Lucifer, his wings a blur of motion, sliced through the angels with precision. His eyes had returned to its normal color and they were sparkling in excitement. The angel he was staring at however ,was not as excited as he was. Lucifer crouched down to meet her eyes and he smiled. He was not actually planning to kill her but he knew he would have to because she will try to expose him.
