Delcy remained where she was, silent. Draco’s rage was only partially unleashed. He was still showing mercy by not having Elsa and Delcy torn apart on the spot. He wanted nothing more than to feed them to his lion. But all his anger was held back because of Luna. He cared deeply about her feelings. If it weren’t for Luna, he wouldn’t even listen to the pleas of these two vile women. “Nigel, release Samson,” Draco ordered firmly. Samson was Draco’s male lion—a magnificent and terrifying beast. I just watched him over the rim of my cup. "You found her." Lucas frowned, squinting at me. He took another step closer, and then he froze. His nostrils flared, trying to catch a scent, but I was wearing heavy blockers. To him, I smelled like nothing but expensive perfume.

“Lady Elara, forgive us. We were rude.” Liora understood the danger before Lucian did. She caught the sleeve of the noble nearest her and raised her voice. “He may have some power, but the Supreme Dragonlord and his wife are beyond every noble house on this continent. How could they be these people? Do not rush to flatter the wrong ones.” The room hesitated. Lucian had nearly believed the truth. Liora’s words gave him a way out. Kael Drakon ruled the continent. In Lucian’s mind, such a man could not have chosen the woman he had once abandoned outside a burning gate.

“I see why you have her as your personal Healer. I think I might just have to steal her away from you.” Even though Griffin said it in a lighthearted tone, I could hear the threat underneath it. In that moment, I lost all sense of self control that I had left. I heard myself growl as I crouched down slightly and got ready to lunge towards Griffin. In that moment, I knew that if I got my hands on him, only one of us would be walking away from here. Before I could move, Lucia jumped in between me and Griffin holding her hands up to stop me, the books that she was holding tumbling to the ground with a loud thud. “Marcus, don’t,” she pleaded, worry and fear in her eyes.

I turned, already knowing who it would be. “You were supposed to come with us,” Malcom said, a faint smile on his lips. I once thought that his smiles were kind. Now, they felt more like amusement. I didn’t answer. Where would I even begin? My mind was a mess of questions, all circling around one thing – that there was something very wrong with the Lycan King. “What kind of game is he playing?” Julius asked loudly from the council’s table. “He didn’t consult any of us. He announces this madness after ordering his beta to kill her earlier today.”

The fairy guard is now in a state of confusion. "But how? I can sense that you are a dragon. Then how is it possible?" the fairy guard frowned. Lucas smirked. "May be i am a dragon drifter" Lucas is trying to misled and confuse the fairy guard. The fairy guard frowned hearing those words. He only knows about fairy drifters. He doesn't have any clue about Dragon drifters. "Dragon race have drifters too?" he asked with puzzlement. Lucas looked at him quietly. 'Is he really asking me that question?' he thought, as a plan began to form in his mind.

Curiosity gets the best of me, because I know I haven’t seen him anywhere until that night. Raven looks at me like I just asked the most insane question she’s ever heard. “Have you been living under a rock all this time?” When I don’t answer, a confused look on my face, she continues. “Jeez, Zoe. Lucien Dravik? He’s one of New York’s best CEO and bachelors, among the likes of Adrian—” I cough at the sound of his name, and that was a wrong move. “What? Have you met him too?” I nod.

Lucius smiled, but with arrogance in his expression, they walked together. "Just fine. You haven't gotten rid of the person who did that to you?" “I'm trying to do it. Crushing it from the bottom is great fun. The higher than the pain when he fell, Mario.” Mario smiled, he knew Lucius was that kind of man. He likes to play his enemy, who thinks he is victorious but only runs in Lucius' palm. The illusion created by Lucius is truly deadly.
