I muttered. "It's okay to let others take care of you, Superman" she said. The door opened and Luke walked in. His eyes widened when he saw me. "You're awake" he said with a smile on his face. I tried to smile but my face muscles wouldn't cooperate with me. "I'm so glad you survived it" he said. "What exactly was that thing?" I asked. "It's called a dragon blade. It's the only thing that can kill royal faeries" I stared at him, blankly.

I felt bad for him and hoped I could convince Greg otherwise. A few minutes later, Greg and his team walked out of the store and I sighed in relief, hoping that nobody had been hurt in the process. I felt bad for Melody because she had trusted me and I brought a whole team to traumatise her sister's customers. Greg got into the car and sat directly beside me. "What did you get?" I didn't waste any time before asking. He passed me a mini tablet and waited for my reaction as I watched the ten second clip. Amy had truly been in the shop with a blonde and it wasn't just any blonde, it was none other than Mira.

I don't know what I was expecting from him, but he takes a small step back and brings the knife up between us, saying. "This knife is known as the 'GURKHA KUKRI CURVED WARRIOR KNIFE', it is made out of silver covered steel making it a very effective weapon for taking our heads off and as the only way to kill a Lycan werewolf is to separate his head from the rest of him it is a good weapon for you to have, at least until...." He only murmured the last part so I didn't really catch all that he said. "So that is how and why that man got back up after I had cut his throat," I murmur to myself, not expecting him to answer, but he does.

I said, jabbing my blade into his abdominals. Muscle and ligaments tore. Ribs cracked as I carved into him. Precise, quick, deep cuts. The blade was hand crafted to suit my purposes. Just in case my past came knocking. He was so caught off guard by my revelation he couldn't rally in time to stop me ripping into him. Muscle memory took over. Ghost Blade went to work. Lance's blood splattered between us. His knife aimed blindly at my body while he choked on the blood pouring out of his mouth. Face marred in pain, but he refused to cry out.

Just me, silence, and a truth I couldn’t outrun. The blade was where I’d left it. Carefully hidden beneath a false floor tile and shrouded with cloth enchanted to dampen aura bleed. It wasn’t a standard weapon. This one had been gifted to me after the hybrid trials. Blood-forged. Custom-coded to react to the specific fingerprint of my aura signature. One of the only things that still felt real when the rest of my memories seemed to come and go like smoke.

Her vision swam. But Lucky wasn’t done. He dipped silver-tipped pliers into wolfsbane, a vicious poison that was life threatening to werewolves, then yanked off one of her fingernails. One. By. One. “You were never supposed to be much of anything, you could have remained the dumb Luna who was an alcoholic,” he whispered. “But you wouldn’t just behave and sit quietly. So now, I’m going to kill you properly. And I’m going to enjoy every second of it.”

The underground fight house was waking up to the fact that they had just lost one of their prized fighters—Luciana. Dino turned to his sister. “Are you ready?” Luciana cracked her knuckles. “I was born ready.” The Escape Begins As they moved through the winding corridors of the club, shadows shifted in the darkness. The underground syndicate wasn’t about to let one of their star fighters leave without a fight. A large figure stepped into the hallway ahead, blocking their path. The man was built like a fortress, scars lining his face, a predator’s grin curling on his lips.

Beta Sylvester said. "Stay calm, Cassian," Ryan mindlinked, already sensing that Cassian was boiling underneath his silence. "We brought gifts for the new Alpha and his Luna," Ryan said to Sylvester. "Thank you," Sylvester said, grinning widely to reveal a gold tooth. "The Luna is my daughter, so I am pleased." "I hope your alphas come with a good deal for alliance," Cassian growled. "Because if I am not satisfied, Blackspire will bear the consequences."

Blake grumbled, “Well, I think—" “I’m okay, Mom,” Lydia lied. Blake nodded. “Yeah, she’s fine,” she agreed. “Just know that I’m here for you, okay?” Luna Alice assured her. “Yes, Mom, I remember that.” They walked over to the Lunas, who welcomed them warmly and began to chat. Lydia flinched nervously as the conversation turned to her finding a worthy and powerful mate tonight, just like her mom found Alpha Damon. Blake noticed her discomfort and excused them to get some drinks.

Marcus wandered over, still trying to catch his breath. "I've seen you negotiate peace treaties with hostile packs." Kaelor raised an eyebrow. "I've seen you command ten thousand warriors in battle." "Hm." "I've even seen you wrestle a rogue Alpha twice your size." "And?" Marcus looked at the crooked flower crown with the cabbage leaf. "...This is somehow the most terrifying thing you've ever done. I'm scared for my life looking at it." Kaelor actually laughed, deep and genuine. "A crown is a crown, Marcus. Especially one made with love and cabbage."
