THIRD PERSON'S POV Lucy sat on her desk, her head in her hand. Books scattered around on the table. She pressed on her temple, as her brain worked like a machine in override. She exhaled loudly and picked up one of the papers. Her eyes scanned it as she picked another. She dropped them and picked up another. “Something isn't right… Why can’t I see it?” She muttered to herself. Her eyes scanning the papers on her table. “I need to win this case, and I can only do it if I find that piece of evidence. It would be the turning point in the case, the last nail in the coffin.” She thought to herself.

After a much-needed shower, Lucy stood in a tiny silk nightgown drying her hair while opening her laptop at her desk. She pulled out her family's ancestor book, as she was starting to fondly think of it. With some time to herself, maybe she could research more about the full-blooded nymph who met a human and started their bloodline. Carefully she turned the pages, feeling a sense of wonder at the information at her fingertips. She had read other ancestors' accounts of an ancestor named Iris Eudora. She had been blessed with a long life and had met many of her descendants during that time. It sounded strange how long Iris had lived, and Lucy hoped there were more accounts of her.
