He was laughing out loud at the horror series that was showing the terror of ghosts. “Look, the ghost looks so cute! The makeup is so unnatural.” Luigi let out a long sigh. “Someone just came to see me.” “Who?” Alessandro asked. “Nicolo De Luca.” Old Ravelli turned his head. His gaze was full of interest. “Did he come here for the annual gathering in New York?”

My plan, being such a big flop, had me reaching to take the card from him, but halfway to it, a firm grip rounded my wrist, drawing me to himself and gritting, “Forget it, she's occupied.” I raised my face to spot Adler’s glare, and in the face of Luigi’s calm, my knees felt jittery; he didn't just…he fucking didn't just… The card still hanging in the air, Luigi frowned, shifting his gaze from me to Adler, "Am I missing something?" Because of this, I’m no sure if Luigi is really in his fifties or if he just looks older than his real age. One thing is for sure though, he is older than Pericle and Pietro which makes me curious on how he bows down to two people younger than him. Unlike Luigi, Pericle had a beaming smile on his face as always. To Pericle, this is like seeing a friend, but to Luigi he looks unhappy because he is here for business only. I smiled at Pericle and Luigi when their eyes landed on me. They both gave me a respectful smile when they recognized that I am their boss’s wife.

It would be awkward to ask about Riley while he's with us. Riley opened the door for us. Luigi gestured for me to enter first before following. During the ride, I couldn't help but appreciate the views along the way. Luigi was staring at his iPad, which appeared to be related to his company. Meanwhile, Riley drove quietly until we reached Luigi's house. We arrived at Luigi's garage, where he shows off his different types of cars. The way out goes to the driveway, and before you get to the garage, you walk through a spacious living area.

Tomorrow. I woke up early to go jogging when I remembered to wake Luigi. I went to his room which was not locked. When I went inside, the pogi was still gaping. I pinched Luigi's nose, which was too crooked. It was almost red but he still didn't get up. I climbed on his bed and stepped on him. Luigi always felt like a heavy weight on his body. He was restless every time I was in front of him. He almost vomited and always made excuses because of what we were eating. Luigi also had a hard time finding the fruits and food I needed.
