“Break one of his fingers.” Lukas hesitates, then grabs the man’s hand and snaps his pinky. The man screams. “Ah! You bitch! Fine, fine—I’ll talk. Just don’t hurt me again. I have a pregnant wife.” “Then start talking.” “His name is Lucian Gray,” he stammers. “He pretends to own a club, but he’s a dark lord. I’ve only seen him once—green eyes, dragon tattoo on his arm. The air around us shifted, wind whipping in sudden circles. “Control it,” Lucas said sharply. “Don’t lose it, shape it.” I gritted my teeth, channeling the power through my hands, not letting it explode. "He must be a traitor, then," Lena growled, pushing herself up. "Hey, you! Aren't you ashamed to be fighting your own blood?" she challenged him. Lysander let out a chilling, maniacal laugh. "Grab them both!" he commanded. The men dismounted and surged towards us. I scanned my surroundings, assessing the situation before engaging. Without a weapon, and feeling my strength wane, I shifted into my wolf form again. But an earth-shattering kick from Lysander sent me flying across the clearing.
