The spell I memorized runs through my mind like a whisper. Ignis minor. A spark flickers at my fingertips. Then another. Then... A burst of blue‑white flame shoots across the barn and slams into the target, blowing it clean off the stand. I hissed bitterly as Faro and Samson both rushed toward me. Snickering, Samson meowed that my heart was pounding undoubtedly in my chest, and Faro's eyes widened at me. “It is Eros!” Faro chuckled in amazement as he pressed his palm against my chest. Furrowing my brow, I whispered harshly, “Lucifer will kill me if he finds out, and he will summon me soon due to my lowered quota of life forces he's been collecting.
