Laz was standing by the car door. "Hey sister-in-law." He greeted with a grin as they approached, holding the car door open for her. She chuckled, turning to look at him. "hey Laz, how are you?" He beamed at her, "I am well. I should be asking you do that, how are you feeling?" Hazel shrugged as Luca slid her into the backseat, letting go off her. "I am alive." She smiled. Laz nodded, getting in beside her. "I am glad you are. It would have felt like a curse to have another person in this family killed my a wolf."

His eyes quickly caught on Olive's and the smile that appeared on his worn face was more beautiful than the sheen of hundreds of blue lights. “My Luna,” he said and opened his arms. A joy broke out his Olive's heart and she ran into his embrace. “Mufasa,” she called out laughing as he lifted her and twirled them around. “Wow. One would think he was so old, he couldn't lift his own staff,” Lutz muttered as the three of them stared at the duo still laughing and turning around. Wayne just chuckled to that and walked to the nearest shelf, peering at the glowing orbs in the mason jars. They reflected against his face and eyes.

But another part was beginning to question everything I thought I knew about the woman I'd bound myself to. The house was quieter than usual when I walked in. I could hear voices coming from the study – Ollie and his tutor, Marcus, working through the weekend lessons he'd missed during our disastrous playdate. “It won’t be long before everyone knows, including our mother.” Atlas said nothing. From the beginning, he thought of everything, especially the possibility of everyone finding out. Luz couldn't calm down, she stayed at the bedroom window to see when her father arrived, and it was already late and he hadn't returned. She gave up her mother's company to be alone and tortured herself with negative thoughts.

The room was spacious but very plain and basic with a bed, a desk stationed in the corner of the room, a closet, and a clothes dresser. She pointed her eyes down at Lux, who laid in her lap and started to stir awake in her arms, slowly opening her big eyes before recognizing Luna's face. "Happy to see you're finally awake~!" smiled Luna as Lux floated up into the air, rubbing her eyes. "I swear I saw the most beautiful creature before darkness submerged me. Could I have been dreaming?" asked Lux, recalling Zain and his breathtaking beauty. Luna couldn't help but laugh. "Nope! A great beauty definitely took you out!"

The envoy from the Sunlit pack arrived a week later, the envoy consisted of seven men and five women with the Alpha included. The Alpha George was a tall huge chunk of a man with bluish black hair that brought attentions to his fiery eyes. He had an intimidating aura surrounding him that screamed for submission. The Alpha Lucien, his son Damien and a few emissaries were present to welcome them. Though of smaller built than George, Lucien was no less intimidating with his pale white skin, cold blue eyes and well-proportioned muscles.

Olivia stepped inside stiffly, still looking downwards. “I—I came to ask...” Her voice faltered under Marena’s amused gaze, and his sharp gaze. She was not looking up, but she could feel it. “Lulu isn’t well. She needs to see a vet.” Nero’s brows drew together. “Lulu?” he repeated slowly, as if the name tasted foreign. “Who the hell is Lulu?” Olivia gulped. “My—My cat.” “Ah. Your precious cat.” Marena chuckled. “I didn’t realize we ran a petting zoo now, baby.”
