Lycans Vs Werewolf Novels & Stories

I studied fighting techniques, learned how to wield weapons, and researched my heritage. If it wasn’t already obvious, my parents and I are lycans. Lycans are the less commonly known cousins of werewolves. My parents were unable to find a lycan pack to settle down in and decided to live as ‘rogues’ or packless wolves instead of joining a werewolf pack. There are several perks to being a lycan, as I have learned. My healing ability is far greater than a human’s and better than a werewolf’s. Unlike werewolves, silver and wolfsbane will not kill a lycan. Wolfsbane gives us headaches and silver just doesn't affect us. Lycans have larger wolves and are more powerful than werewolves. However, were

one of the werewolves ask and the lycans showed their fangs, protecting their leader “hey, cub! Don’t stoop at their level” the lycans obey their right hand in command and the wolves sneered at them as if werewolves can handle lycans –lycans can turn into their wolf anywhere and anytime they want but the werewolves can’t Werewolves can only turn themselves when the full moon appears. But both of these creatures have undeniable strength that causes them to fight one another and having an argument in who’s the strongest Lina know this and she wants a divert her attention ‘who do you think will win if they fight?’ she produced a piece of ice sized like her fist and she throws it to the lycan af

Algernon cautioned, and she responded with a solemn nod, fully attentive. "Thousands of years ago, Lycans were known as werewolves. They could only shift into their wolf form under the full moon. However, Lycaon, the great and mighty Lycan King, became the first werewolf to shift into his wolf form under the sun, without needing a full moon. This granted him greater power, strength, and agility than any other werewolf. He used this newfound power to lead his kind to victory and free them from enslavement during the Full Moon Liberation.

Lycans are a race of half human and half werewolf. When they shift, they become rabid and powerful beasts that could easily tear you limb from limb. They stand on their two legs like a human, but their overall appearance is that of a wolf. They are beautiful and magnificent creatures - well, unless you are the recipient of their attack. Their human forms are even more magnificent because it is their human side that prevails.

I was excited. “Uh,” He seemed flustered, “You believe me?’ “I’ll believe you when I’ll see it,” I urged him, “So, show me,” “Uh,” He licked his lips, he seemed somewhat hesitant, “Lycans have a different form than werewolves,” He spoke softly and he still looked confused, “You believe all this?” He frowned. “I will when you show me.” I smiled, “And I know,” I replied, “I looked it up on the internet,” My eyes didn’t stop shining and I was so excited my body felt restless, “Show me!!” I said again.

He said, “The Lycans never had a problem with us.” “Forgive me, but I believe it’s only a matter of time.” I said, “They have been trying to conquer lands to achieve world domination. Divide and conquer is their strategy, for they know we are too powerful when we’re united. Hence why they have targeted the werewolf community first, and the next to follow would be the witches and the Vampires.” “Assuming you’re right,” He said, “I still don’t see how going to war is the best option.”

Although both lycans and werewolves were created by the moon goddess, we are a different species. The Lycans are the moon goddess’ first creation. Lycans are strong, fast, and more powerful than werewolves. Their beast form also differs from us. They stand on their two legs while werewolves stand on four pawns. Lycans have a different way of doing things. Their culture and ceremonies differ from what I was accustomed to. They believe that they are superior to us. And being a werewolf made me feel worse. I wasn’t sure if Zane’s pack will accept a werewolf as their Luna.

I grinned as I offered my hand out for her to shake. She giggled but didn’t place her hand in mine which frustrated me slightly. Shit, I needed more of her touch. “So, what’s a Lycan and is the Alpha the same in normal wolf packs?” She questioned. “A Lycan is almost the same as a werewolf… only a Lycan is stronger, has larger teeth, is much taller, has larger muscle mass and can stand up when shifted… and, we are much harder to kill.” “Much harder to kill!?” She interrupted as her mouth dropped open in shock.

I went to the door to eavesdrop on what they were saying. After a while, the voices died down and I heard the sound of chairs scraping against the floor. I assumed that the meeting was over Werewolves and Lycans were similar. It was also funny that they were enemies yet belonged to the same tribe. The only difference between werewolves and the Lycans was that werewolves were wealthier while Lycans were physically stronger. And while we had an organized structure, they were more Independent. We were also social and outgoing while they were recluse and traditional.

Though it took a few minutes, he returned to normal. "You've become stronger than before," he commented as soon as he regained control of his Lycan. "And you've turned weaker," I said, and he nodded. There is a major difference between a werewolf and a Lycan, not only in terms of their appearances but also in terms of their origin. Werewolves used to be humans who were turned into wolves later, but lycans were wolves who were turned into humans. That's the main reason werewolves can control their wolves easily, as their human counterpart is way more dominant in their soul. But for us lycans, our beast is always dominant over our human counterparts.
