If someone were to walk in they’d see the way he pinned me to the wall, our chests heaving in tandem, and would likely assume the worst. I sucked in a ragged breath as he removed his hand, only the air was thick with his scent. It rushed right to my head, coaxing a whine from my lips that I barely managed to smother in time. Lycans were a vicious, brutal race. I knew that as well as I knew my own name, yet nothing could’ve prepared me for the half-brothers from hell. The blast should’ve broken your spine. Ryker’s eyes were dark with rage, yet I thought I saw something within them falter. It lasted but a split second, a fraction of a moment.

While doing so, he held onto the satin sheets over my chest and that's when it struck me that I was naked under the sheets. Clutching it, I leaned back against the bed and sighed deeply, "So...am I a lycan?" A hint of a smile touched his lips as if the idea was amusing to him. Shaking his head, he chuckled softly, "No. A werewolf." I nodded my head, absorbing it all. Finally, I asked the question I have been curious about for the longest, "What's the difference between a Lycan and a werewolf?" He cocked his eyebrow up and set off to explain to me, "Basically, lycans are giant, ferocious, more intelligent, and barbaric than the werewolves."

“However, in the most recent years, some witnesses saw corpses of missing hunters in the woods or in the mountains. Their skin and flesh were ripped off by what seems to be razor-sharp objects. The gashes were too curvy to be considered just ordinary stab wounds and too deep to be considered just a wild animal’s attack. Having said that, this forced many to believe that these killings cannot be done by either humans or wild animals. While our family believes that these were done by half humans, half wolves.” I shift my weight when bigger distress persists in bothering me. The screen then turns into two photos - one showing a giant wolf and one showing a beast. “Now, let’s not confuse oursel

She is joking, of course, but it is a fairly serious matter in fact. Lycans are dangerous, apex predators; much stronger and faster than any Alpha werewolf, and they’re bigger too. If you ever had to fight one, you should be worried – I read somewhere that they’re really difficult to kill, in fact the only sure-fire ways are to either rip its beating heart from its chest, or completely sever its head from its body - neither would be an easy feat. Even if you could get close enough to one without it tearing you in half, their skin is tough, like armour. I pity any fool who was ever set upon by a Lycan. “Thinking about it, I don’t think it could be the same Lycans…” I ponder, “they looked abou

I asked him, but he didn't respond. He had ignored me for the past few weeks, which is unacceptable, especially if the pack is under attack. It had been up to me to pick up the slack since he hadn't been at his best. As I finished shifting, I surrendered to his control and retreated to the back of my mind. Unlike wolves, Lycans stand on two feet. Lycans are faster than wolves and more robust than our cousin species. Watching the trees blur by, I feel the cold wind hit my whole body as we speed up.

His silky dark hair is hidden underneath a crown and his scarlet eyes are scanning the area for a tiny figure which is hiding somewhere. Even without his wolf, Alexei’s senses are sharper than other werewolves. After all, he is a Lycan. Most werewolves shift when they are 18 but Lycans shift at 15. They are on the top of the werewolf hierarchy. Even Alphas cannot beat them in a fight and their blood is extremely valuable. They are born different and hence, rule over the other werewolf species. “Hee hee!” His sharp senses pick up someone’s snicker and he follows the laughter. Cove stumbled to the nearest tree and fell down thinking, ‘Hopefully Alpha Lance or any of the pack members don’t discover me.’ Cove knew he will have to wait for nighttime so that he could use his Vampire abilities, but he also knew that he cannot afford to fall asleep, not while part shifted as he might get mistaken for an actual werewolf. Lycans use the term Werewolf; a creature that can

Her heart drummed against her chest on receiving the confirmation and she immediately blurted out, "What the hell are you talking, Lily? Trespassing Lycan Lucas' Territory means death!" Skyla's fear required no justification. Though Lycans and werewolves worshipped the same Goddess, the Moon Goddess and had some of the ancestors in common, they were the most brutal enemies of each other.
