I gestured towards a free seat.
“Thank you, Jake,” She responded, pulling in a chair.
“There’s… there's something in Lyra's bloodwork. It’s not just trauma, Jake. There’s a foreign element, there is something magical about it.”
My mind raced. “Magic? Like a curse?” My eyes widened in shock. The moon goddess cannot be so unfair to mate me with someone who also carried a curse.
“It's magic, but definitely not a curse” she admitted. “It’s something as old as time. But I noticed it’s dormant, waiting for a particular trigger to activate it.”
