The two men turn to face the window as I hurry over, resisting the urge to press my hands to the glass. “That fucking giant boat,” I hiss. After I finish, Mac comes over, and we double-check that everything on their boat is properly secured. I start to head down, but he gets there first. "Can you help my girl?" He closes the door, almost drowned out by the gusts of wind.

He approached their table and placed it in front of Mabel, who raised an eyebrow. "Go on," Marco said evenly. "Open it." Mabel’s hands trembled as she unlatched the case. Her eyes widened as stacks of crisp bills came into view. "Oh my gosh," she whispered, her voice filled with awe. She quickly shut the briefcase, her expression shifting to one of triumph. Marco remained stoic. "Now the details." Mabel took a deep breath, as if savoring her victory. "The ship’s name is Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller. It had Maersk Line’s white seven-pointed star logo on a blue background. It departed from the port nearest to this place."

Mac looks up as I approach, his face pale, his breath coming in short, shallow gasps. “You don’t have the case of money or the shipment,” I say, my voice measured but laced with irritation. “What the hell happened?” “It… it was Ghost,” Mac stammers, his words tripping over each other. “He showed up at the docks.
