I’m annoyed as I look over to Ezra whispering something to Scott, who grabs Hunter in some form of bear hug. All I wanted was a night out with my friends after another sexless week. “You’re insane. I let out a sigh, looking away from him. “He’s a member of this pack. Max is Miles’ best friend and the second-best enforcer in the pack. He handles all external affairs for the pack and is always on the road,” I said, all in one breath through the mind link.
