Penelope's POV Timothy is standing by the back windows with a group of his teammates, a bottle of beer in his hand and Madison pressed against his side like a territorial claim. He's wearing all black jeans and a fitted t-shirt that shows off his hockey-toned physique and looking every inch the bad boy Alpha heir that made half the campus swoon. But when our eyes meet across the room, everything else fades away.

Standing with the bottles in his hands, he downed the last of his beer in one long gulp. “She was always pretty,” he said simply, before heading back toward the kitchen. The room erupted in laughter and teasing “oohs,” Madison’s blush deepening until she covered her face with her hands. “So smile, okay?” Greg said warmly. “We’re all here for you.” Madison peeked out from behind her fingers, her voice soft. “Thank you.” Richard returned moments later, the bottles clinking together in his grip. “I’m out of beer,” he announced. “I’ll go get some more.”

She looks at me for my answer. “Neither. I’m a St. Louis Cardinals fan.” “Two Bud Light draughts, please.” As the server leaves, he smiles a cocky grin at me. Answering my questioning eyes, he states, “It’s my profession to know what my customers want. You’re a Jack and Diet Coke girl. No frills. Tough. If you chose The Cubs or White Sox, I would have ordered a local brew on tap. Since you’re a Cardinals fan in a Cubs town, it would seem that you would choose to remain loyal to the Anheuser-Busch family. I chose a light beer because I can tell you work to keep your body firm and lean.” His eyes wander up and down my body.

He was just too boring. “I see.” Just in the course of dancing, Madison had already gulped down eight glasses of assorted liquor. Lake noticed how it was beginning to affect her and told the waiter to put the rest of the drinks they ordered away. He drank more than her but was not drunk because of his level of tolerance. “I think you’ve had enough drinks for the night. Think about your liver.” Madison felt tipsy, everything spun in her eyes. “But I was just getting started.” Her fingers trailed his collar down to his shirt as she tried to unbutton them. The person she was seeing was a handsome young tall guy.

"Come on. Are you in or out? I'm not dragging you just to keep me company. I want you to pick something, too." Sebastian sighed. "Fine. I'll get a drink." Madison's face lit up with a smile that revealed her dimples. Though she wasn't the skinniest, she had a pretty face, especially when she smiled. There was something irresistible about that sweet, bright expression.

The man looked at her eyes before throwing her face. “Ackk!” The girl fell on the floor holding both of her face and neck which was slightly twisted when the man threw her face from his grip. Even though she’s hurting and afraid of the man in front of her, she feels worried towards him. “B-Babe?” She called him but he ignored her. ‘I know Massie’s telling the truth but then… who’s Madison Morgan? What’s her identity?’ He went towards the table and picked up the glass of whiskey, after drinking it empty, he slammed it back to the table.

Floating along the sides is a very distinctive plant. “You gave me marijuana?” I’m baffled that they’d even put that in a drink. “And a shit ton of alcohol,” Simon announces proudly. “It's my favorite drink when I need to loosen up.” He holds up his own and takes a long, deep drink. “How are you feeling? Still nervous?” I take another drink, The more I have the tastier it becomes. Giggling, I reply, “No.” “She’s ready,” Madison concurs. “Let’s get out on that dance floor!”

"I'm curious to see how well you can choose what I might like." Accordingly, Zach ordered a Mango Tango for Susan, a lighter beer with the flavor of sweet mango with hints of fresh bread, Pirate's Red for Krista, a deep copper-colored beer with a hint of sweet caramel and toasted gingerbread, and a Nitro Stout for himself, dark brown and creamy with a hint of milk chocolate and molasses. "Oh, this is just marvelous," Susan declared after she had tasted her beer. "It is good," Krista agreed. "But I'll bet that they're all good."

Madison stiffened at her abrupt action. She had thought Donna was listening to Aaron at least. “What’s on your mind?” She inquired, snapping Donna’s attention to her. Donna shook her head, laughing awkwardly. “Nothing, I was just lost in thought.” “What thoughts? Does it include this project?” Madison pressed, filling a glass of wine and passing it to her. Aaron glanced at her in shock. Madison had never ever accepted alcohol or let her guests drink when discussing business. Her signature quote was “Wine makes the Mind flatter”

Realizing how shameful her outburst was, Madison lowered her head in embarrassment. When Madison finished the beer, she stood up again. She approached the shelf where she got the beer and took six more. Well, it only tasted bitter at first, but as time passed, the bitterness disappeared, and it would taste just like water. "You'll be fine. The bitterness would go away as time went on, just like the taste of this beer. I've been crying, but the pain is getting worse." Madison sadly said to herself. As she finished the three cans, she suddenly felt like the whole room was spinning.
