Under the Dragon's Protection

Under the Dragon's Protection

Unlike dragons, wolves were not immune to magic. Just then, the Mage stumbled as she reached the golden stool of the master of the temple, coughing up blood. Taking advantage of the witches' distraction, Y took his precious hostage and ran with the rest of his army, since they couldn't fight with their wolves unable to transform. The betrayal Waai had seen coming, just not so soon. He was expecting to end the Mage after she had taken care of Dom and his dragon, but she took the step too early.

F.E.A.R.

Jax, Gunner, and I were walking up towards her when I noticed Maggie staring off into the distance. “Mags? What is it? You want to stretch your wings?” I asked hoping that it wasn’t something to do with the bad feeling in my gut. “Charlie and the other witches still here?” She asked still focused out in the field. “Yes?” I answered now looking back at the pack. “Issue the alert,” Maggie said before standing up fully, stretching her wings out, and roaring, letting a large flame erupt from her mouth. Calling Koa forward, “Witches! Protect women and children!”

Dark Escape (Book 1 of Dark Escape Duo)

Dark Escape (Book 1 of Dark Escape Duo)

‘You have near you very dear souls who, together with you, will be able to stop the evil that has been unleashed. Liam’s words seemed incredulous. There were only three of them who were able to fight against an army of demon wolves headed by her former demon almost fiancé. “How much ammunition do you have?” Tara asked shakily. “Not enough to pick off that many, I’m sorry to say,” Maggie replied. She slumped as she battled defeat. Tara walked over and laid a hand on her shoulder. Maggie patted her face lovingly. “Ya have the power,” she said firmly. “If we need it, use it!”

Magnus: Dragon Prince

Magnus: Dragon Prince

He was getting tired at the confused looks and the worried looks his companions constantly gave him. ‘Remember, information is power’ Fafnir warned. Sighing and rolling his eyes, Rex knew what he meant so decided that he would share a part of his story. “As you both know, I am a Magnus, and with being a Magnus, I can sometimes use the power of a dragon to aid me in combat. The reason why I seem like I zone out, is because he talks to me inside my head, it can get very distracting at times. But as you have both also seen, the strain of my body also becomes too much the more I use.”

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

Mate of War

Mate of War

" Makaria shot back at the cluster of women surrounding her and her task at hand. She had rested only a short time last night, her two projects by the name of Warren and Pomelia keeping her up. Pomelia's emotions were strong last night. The young novice was petrified of being in such a new place with no guidance from her lug of a mate. Warren was walking on eggshells attempting to make his mate comfortable but Pomelia still wasn't. She worried all night and eventually ended up outside, her prayers and fears being spoken out into the wind and carried up to the goddess. Makaria felt for the mortal and did something that was neither wrong or right. A quick ball of light in the shape of a wolf s

Monster

Monster

He had a very dark expression on his face. He walked closer to me, examining my bruised face and swollen lips. No one had given me medicine and my wounds were still fresh. I forced down the lump when he quietly stepped towards me. He was not the same man I had slept with many nights. He was the boss of the mafia. He was a murderer. He was back to the same monster. His eyes were telling me everything. It was difficult to ignore the scorching hatred in his eyes toward me.

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Rex muttered to himself, rolling his shoulders, ‘Marcia, thank you, pull your forces back’. ‘This man holds the rank of commander. You are a sound fighter, but this man has trained his whole life to fight and lead, I do not think this plan is a wise use of your talents, kill the necromancers and run,’ Fafnir growled. “A fight to the death Magnus,” the large man bellowed, placing his hand on the pommel of the large sword strapped to his hip, his other hand curled into a fist beating his chest. “Of course,” Rex replied, with a nod and smile, as the blackguard commander drew his large sword, the hiss of steel against leather sounding out loudly, they stood there for a long few seconds staring a

Pack Wars

Pack Wars

*Jaedon’s POV* “You’re saying war?” My best friend and Beta, Peter Normandy raised his eyebrows at me. Peter and I had met when we were children. Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.

Warrior of the Way

Warrior of the Way

Rhychard ran a hand over his head as he took a deep breath. He worried he made the wrong choice. He had only been a Warrior of the Way for about four months, and while he knew quite a bit, there was twice as much he didn't. Still, what's done is done, and now they just had to make the best of it. Hopefully, the Guardian Sword would give him ample warning before trouble ambushed him. With a glance at the ellyll, he asked, "How exactly does this magic work?"

Sounds like you're looking forward to it. Paige really had a radiant personality and it made her feel good to have met someone like that, she just hoped that her parents would be like her, she then hesitantly replied to her, "My father is a warrior and my mother is a mage, my older brother became a warrior and as for me I hope to be able to follow in my mother's footsteps. But even if I can't become a mage it's okay, I'll just stay and help out my mother in her store, I will be happy as long as I can take care of the magic herbs."
