Unlike dragons, wolves were not immune to magic. Just then, the Mage stumbled as she reached the golden stool of the master of the temple, coughing up blood. Taking advantage of the witches' distraction, Y took his precious hostage and ran with the rest of his army, since they couldn't fight with their wolves unable to transform. The betrayal Waai had seen coming, just not so soon. He was expecting to end the Mage after she had taken care of Dom and his dragon, but she took the step too early.

Jax, Gunner, and I were walking up towards her when I noticed Maggie staring off into the distance. “Mags? What is it? You want to stretch your wings?” I asked hoping that it wasn’t something to do with the bad feeling in my gut. “Charlie and the other witches still here?” She asked still focused out in the field. “Yes?” I answered now looking back at the pack. “Issue the alert,” Maggie said before standing up fully, stretching her wings out, and roaring, letting a large flame erupt from her mouth. Calling Koa forward, “Witches! Protect women and children!”

Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.

Rhychard ran a hand over his head as he took a deep breath. He worried he made the wrong choice. He had only been a Warrior of the Way for about four months, and while he knew quite a bit, there was twice as much he didn't.
