Mage's Book Novels & Stories

He had been in the dungeon, forgotten and left to rot all these years but then somebody took the effort to silence him so surely his words should have an ounce of truth atleast. Hence, I was determined to find the answers to my questions. Positioning the ladder under the huge desk, I climbed up and ran my eyes through the spines. I read through the titles, the ones that I could, and scratched my chin, wondering what to pick up first. ‘Mages of the ancient’ A title of a book caught my attention, and I wondered if this could be it. Reaching for the giant tome, I slowly pulled it out and struggled a bit to hold it in my hands.

Cela remains disappointed. "C'mon. It's not like they bought everything. They just thought of giving the books as Christmas presents apart from the corporate giveaways. You must know that your mother enjoyed your first book so much. Too bad that she passed before the second one is out," Nanny Rita continued. "You've always been loyal to her," Cela said.

She was looking at the teen with a smiling face. Elise reached out to her, and the familiar script was before her. It was the papyrus scroll of the Book of Gates. How could her grandmother take a hold of the ancient papyrus scroll, which was believed to be a myth? Why was it in her hands instead of inside Eric’s bag? The Book of Gates gave her the answer she was seeking—how to defeat Priestess Nehes. She would have to use her own magic and creativity based on it. She thought it would be different from the underworld anyway.

She crossed her arms and muttered, “Where’s the book?” Serena was slightly taken aback, her mind taking time to process the other fae’s request. Her lips parted. “What book?” Amie rolled her eyes and leaned forward. Her beady gaze glimmered. “The Book of Ancient Magic. Queen’s orders. Give it now if you want to face consequences.” Serena’s baffled look made Amie’s lips quirk. “You think I will let you go? If you think you were ever my friend-”

AURORA’S POV I closed my eyes and focused on the place I had seen in my memories and tried to teleport there. A few minutes later I had fallen on the ground, drenched in sweat and panting with exertion. My magical powers weren’t enough to penetrate the dark shield. There was only one way now… Teleporting to the sanctuary, I took out ‘The Heart of Magic’. I shivered at the currents of power coursed through me by just holding it.

He is currently the youngest wordweaver in Garou, he seems to be the only male in his family, adding to the fact that his father, the previous wordweaver just passed. Crescent signaled him to carry on. “Maggie, once a queen , now a puppet of greed. Betrayal's threads entwine her, darkness claims her heart.” He began as the courtroom filled with tension. "Queen Maggie, a visionary, shackled by power-hungry fools! Her actions, a desperate cry for justice, drowned in shadows." The defender counterattacks. “She broke a sacred rule, known to every supernatural, Maggie manipulated a wolf into killing a human professor,” Roy stated.

A thick, weathered book lay open before her, its yellowed pages vibrating slightly. She spoke in a low, melodic voice: “Estra me seish kruel. Estes ses seish kruel. Hillma re kuvena celin. Oshrma celin.” The candles flickered wildly, and the air in the room grew colder. ‘That’s black magic!’ Naila’s voice rang sharply in my mind. I stiffened. ‘How do you know that?’ ‘It’s written on the book’s spine. That’s a forbidden spellbook.’

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

"Yay! Alison! Alison!" Richard couldn't stop himself from smiling. "Where are you?" He didn't know when he asked that question like some stalker. "I have a story book!" Maggie kept on singing and dancing. "A story book?" Richard frowned."Oh it's a magazine?" He quickly tried to change topics because he didn't want to appear like a psycho to Alison. "Yes. There are a ton of dogs she can chose from." Richard clicked the speaker button so Alison's explanation only produced louder scream of joy from Maggie.

Tara A strange sound cleaves the heavy silence of the library — a sharp, broken laugh, which surprises even me. It transforms into a rictus I feel on my lips without having commanded it. "A conversation? Is that what you call it?" says Mike, retreating behind his armchair, making a barrier of leather and wood between us. His gaze is slimy, shifting from terror to desperate provocation. It's the trap of the cornered rat. "It's the beginning, Mike. The beginning of the end of our lies."
