Magic In Fantasy Novels & Stories

"A baby? That can't be me, right?" "Don't ask me. How would I know?" …This guy is full of mystery. Forget it. Once his memory returns, I'm quite sure that he would tell me everything. "Ehem, back to our topic," I said. "What you read just now is a magic spell." "Magic spell? What is that?" "Magic spell is an incantation, a spell, a charm, an enchantment or a bewitchery, it is a magical formula intended to trigger a magical effect on a person or objects by consuming mana— Restia."

I asked them, and they smiled. " What makes someone a mage, is the ability to wield all elements. Unlike witchcraft that can be learned, you are either born a mage or an ordinary human being. Although we can wield work with all the elements, we do not necessarily need spells or incantations to perform magic," Melena explained. " Yes, Ellis, we can wield spirit magic, and so could your mother and every mage in existence. " Audrey answered. I became jealous and sad because I was a very useless mage. I did not think it was fair to refer to myself as a mage.

As a matter of fact, he was deemed the oldest of the siblings. Madam Sif, also known as the queen of magic or the lady of magic. She was the founder of magical forces, although many believed she utilizes chaos magic to alter reality on a universal level but she doesn't. She was the source of magic to other entities on the planet ranging from witches, wizards and other hybrid species related to magic known as the mystic humans and the mystic vampires.

Perhaps I'll purchase them after I've studied all the books I currently have. There are so many discussions and explanations in this book, it's quite extensive. I've summarized it into a few simple concepts about the power system in this world. In this world, magic is very common for everyone, and there are numerous types of magic. But fundamentally, magic is divided into two categories: attribute magic and non-attribute magic. Sometimes people in this world also refer to magic as skills. For example, body enhancement magic for a knight is sometimes referred to as body enhancement skill. Although, in reality, it's the magical energy channeled throughout the body to strengthen it.

Mia asked again, confused. I didn’t know how to tell her that next part; I thought she wouldn't believe me and might even call me crazy. So, I took a breath in, glanced her side and just blurted out: “he said that gypsy usually use dark magic on things for compelling and sorcery” “HA, WHAT?” she shouted back in shock. She looked at me with a horrified and pale face. She thought for a while and asked again with a hint of a mocking smile on her face: “what does it do?”

"I think I can learn to use elementary magic first so I can pass the test at the guild later." Wilma tried to recall elementary magic from this body's memory. She found ‘appraisal magic’ and ‘sense magic’ as well as ‘body enhancement’. The place where this body was a slave only had elementary magic books so she could only learn to use those magics. In using magic, all magicians must use spells and imagination. Wilma as a human from Earth is very rich in imagination because she is an otaku who really likes comic books and novels. Using imagination is her forte.

I learned to harness the magic not for personal gain, but for the protection and unity of my pack. The magic I learned from the moon goddess was a breathtaking tapestry of ethereal beauty, a gift bestowed upon me in my dreams. It felt as if the very essence of the moonlight itself had been woven into a shimmering cloak of power, and it was a sight to behold. This magic, it was like a delicate dance of silver threads, each strand glistening with the soft luminescence of moonbeams. Whenever I called upon it, it responded with a graceful, fluid elegance, as if the moonlight had come to life in my very hands.

It’s quite under-develop but the lacking are made up by magic. Remember this is a fantasy-romance book. And I've also learned that, Lady Marina uses Dark Magic. Grabe! kahit sa magic villain na villain ang dating. But, I also found out that Lady Marina was not allowed to uses magic in public, having a rare magic is dangerous dahil marami raw ang gahaman dito. Like in the modern world, parang may black market trade dito, not to mention Lady Marina is a daughter of a wealthy noble.

Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients. Matilda also found a spell that returned lost fortune, a spell that cured epilepsy, a spell that cured blindness, a spell that could renew physical features, a spell that prolonged life and even one that cast evil eyes away from someone. She was about to flip the page over to the next one when she found a spell that made her to stop short. The spell spoke about bringing one's true love to the person. True love was a novel concept to Matilda and she chuckled at the overall sillines

Magic is using essence and energy to apply change to the outside world. Essence comes from the body composed of blood and cells while energy refers to the elements such as fire and lightning. Soul power can also be categorized in the energy section. When a practitioner cast magic, he just wields the essence and energy to whatever form he wills like simple fireballs and ice cones; easy and nameless. But spells needs an activation code to use such as "Fire art, Heavenly Conflagration" and "Ice art, Freezing Abyss". In literal terms, magic has no system but spells is systematic. Thus, ends the tutorial for beginners about magic and spells.
