The man shook his head slowly with a faint smile. “I am The Heart of Magic. I'm both Draco and not Draco at the same time," replied The Heart of Magic.

Someone broke the door. I'm still scared, the MANA in my body is almost exhausted, I can only maintain it for another fifteen minutes at most. He spoke in a dialect and guided them. A simple movement of his hand and a steamy hot plate of meat appeared on his palm. He chuckled while he placed the wooden plate next to the marked tree. "Looking for me?" Warren grinned as he came into view. The man swept the stringy black hair to the side, crossed his arms, pointed to Warren, and shouted. The orbs circled him like birds of prey waiting for the right moment to strike.

Kendrick exhaled deeply, closed his mouth, and pulled him away a moment as he asked in a world-weary tone, "All right...let's hear it." The young man steadied his breath, swallowing hard as he spoke to his would-be predator, "I-I am a wizard." A look of skepticism crossed Kendrick's face. "I've got a potion that I have created that you would want. And if you promise not to eat me I'll give you this potion." The man explained quickly.

But looking at the man’s deep eyes she suddenly remembered she had seen one of those before… This person… “You are… the one who had helped me escape last time,” the man who she had called the magician, who seemed to could use some kind of magic but had unknowingly let her released during the time she was kidnapped. “Ding dong!” He sang. “That’s me indeed. Nice to meet you Rose, they call me Nate. Same like you, a sorcerer.”

I think he's trying to say that if he had told me that he has warm hands that could calm someone's anger, would I believe it, just as he has told me about his fast legs? I smile at him, still bewildered, but it's okay. Shaking my head, I say to him, "this is weird. All of it is weird, but I'm glad you did this. I'm sorry for lashing out at you." Oh, and I need to ask this, "so, are you like, I don't know, some kind of magic man?" When I ask, he laughs. "Please, do not tag me as such. Neither am I a wizard, if you were thinking of it." He tells me, which made me laugh. Well, I was about resolving to that word, since I can't make sense of all this he's shown me.
