The creeping sense of being watched settled over me once more, making my skin crawl. My heart skipped a beat and I slowly turned to face the source. Suddenly, a shadowy figure materialized, and I let out a blood-curdling scream, leaping off my bed in terror. But in the blink of an eye, the shadow vanished, leaving me breathless and bewildered.

By now, we’ve all had more than a few drinks, and we’re halfway between tipsy and passed out. “Let’s tell scary stories,” Laura, one of my friends, suggests. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Kara asks. “These woods are spooky at night. I have to be able to sleep, you know.” “Maybe we should call one of those hunky forest rangers for you,” I suggest with a laugh. “He’d better bring a friend,” Laura says. “Or twelve,” Diana, another friend of mine, adds. We all laugh, and Laura starts in on the first story about night walkers, ghostly figures who march through the forest.

There is just something about the dark that is so scary. I might be a werewolf but those ghost stories do scare the hell out of me. I kept imagining seeing things as we walked through the forest. A tree that looked like a giant person, a short person with a big head and no eyes. ‘Ahhhhh, what in the world is wrong with you? You are supposed to be the strongest, bravest she-wolf but here you are being afraid of ghosts,' my wolf said and I chuckled. I did that to wake her up, she had been too quiet for my liking.

Scarlett cried, before sniffing her nose. "How scary is it?". Amelia asked because she was tired of playing games with Scarlett. "It's very scary Mama!". Scarlett said in between tears. Amelia nods her head so that Scarlett can continue her statement. "Inside the school premises….. I do see monsters walking with their head on the floor, while their leg is in the air……. I do see some monsters changing into beasts, and they always come after me, while using a knife". The young Scarlett declared.

You shiver when you always think of, A werewolf in the night, They eat human flesh so yuck and sticky, But it’s just in your mind You might think there’s a creepy castle, Lost somewhere in time, You might think it has ghosts all around, But it’s just in your mind. Do you believe in vampires? , Those creatures with long white fangs, You might think they drink human blood, But it’s just in your mind. You might believe in witches, They laugh with a scary look, You might think they have black cats, Or a bat to cook for food. You can imagine all sorts of creepy things, That makes you shudder with fright, But please don’t yell mommy when you see them,

I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted to sleep. I suddenly opened my eyes to see some bizarre creatures coming towards me. I sat up and started moving back till I hit the tree. They did not stop coming, instead they kept coming closer. They looked really scary and they made some strange sounds as they came closer. “Please don’t kill me” I pleaded. One of them grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up. I did not know what happened, it happened so fast. All I knew was that something fell from my dress when he lifted me, and then they started to disperse one after the other.

He snarled, a wicked grin stretching across his face as he twisted his head. A chilling crack resonated through the air, intensifying my fear even more. He advanced towards me, taking slow, deliberate steps, closing the distance between us. Tears welled up in my eyes as I frantically crawled backward. All I wished for in that moment was to wake up from this horrifying nightmare if I was sleeping. "Please, please don't kill me, I beg you!" I pleaded, my voice barely audible above a whisper, overshadowed by my uncontrollable sobs.

I didn't even bother waking Mavis and Sophie since they're already fast asleep in the living room with all the other guys. I was about to close my eyes as soon as I lied on the bed but I heard a loud thud coming from near the window which made me stood up immediately. Don't tell me, I feel scared right now? I shouldn't have listened to Taurus's story before since I'm also not fond of scary stories. I can handle scary things but not true scary stories that did happen in real life. I thought maybe I should drink some water before I go to sleep. I wore my indoor slippers and made my way to the door.

She didn't want to hear anymore of the frightening story. "Don't tell me you're all scared. It's a myth, I made it up!" John smirked, his eyes gazing at the scared faces of his girlfriend and friends. "Ha ha ha, scared? I've never been scared of anything in my life!" Rocky roared in laughter as he rose from the ground. "Scary stories don't scare me. I'm gonna pee!" He uttered still grinning. "Don't wander far into the woods, you never know who you'll meet." John warned in a playful but spooky voice.

The whole sky black making me more scared. I am not type of a person who gets scared easily... "Ahhhh" I screamed as kept my leg on some object. It could be a snake for God's sake. I removed my leg slowly from the object or the snake only to sign in relief. It's just a stick. "Buddy please we should go inside now.. Mom will definitely scold me once she realise I was out of the forest. What if she won't ever realise we are out of forest. She might be searching for us inside the forest only. We should definitely go now. What if we won't ever go back. What if a vampire suck our blood till we become dry or even worse what if a ghost appear and eat us. What if-"
