Linda’s P.O.V I watched as my mother joyfully savored each bite of her meal, a contented smile adorning her face. Meanwhile, my father sat across from my mother, his expression marked by sadness and worry. His eyes met mine, and we shared a moment of understanding. However, I couldn't find it within myself to eat. A knot tightened in my stomach, a physical manifestation of the sadness and anxiety I felt. Are you okay? Kiera and Ivan, how are they?” Leah asked, her voice filled with worry. “I'm fine, my dear. Your siblings are alright. Everything is good. I just need to see you and discuss an important matter with you,” Mama said, reassuring Leah, though her voice still carried an air of mystery that made Leah anxious.

I said yelling. Mama looked at me in a way that seemed like shock. Only then did I realize that I was looking at her eyeball to eyeball. Mama looked like someone that had been electrocuted. She dipped her face closer into the window and by reflex, I shifted my head backwards. Mama's face changed completely to a frown and her mouth opened in amazement "John?" Which mother won't know her son?

Nakipagkamay pa si papa, kahit hindi ko binalingan si Elian alam kong sobrang lawak ng kanyang ngiti.
