His Book club

His Book club

He was here for me. When we finally settled down into our usual circle, Linda Lively's book was opened, I noticed the way Kael handled his copy. Like it was something worth respecting, worth holding carefully. It made me smile. “Kael,” April said suddenly, her grin mischievous, “why don’t you read for us?” I half expected him to decline. To smirk and shake his head like reading aloud was beneath him. But instead, he nodded. Took the book and cleared his throat.

Changing the Billionaire's Heart

Changing the Billionaire's Heart

"Good morning, princess." "Good morning," I answered and sat on the sofa beside him. "Do you have a meeting today?" I asked. And he shook his head, “Not much." He replied, now continuing on reading the book in his hand. I glanced at the book that he’s reading. Based on the title, A Guide to a Perfect Shot, it’s obvious that it’s a book about photography Why is he reading it? Now my curiosity just got bigger. I was about to open my mouth to ask him, but thought about it and knew it was not a good idea. At least, not now. He seems so focused on reading it and I'm just bothering him.

Wine Stained Lips

Wine Stained Lips

We needed all the evidence we could get against Mr Ranault even if it means coming to see a stranger alone in a library. The library had another floor for history and science while the bottom floor was for kids books and pretty much basic stuff. I searched around the ground floor of the library but there was only two teenagers, some women and two nerdy collage guys. There is no way any of these people had that manly voice I heard on the phone last night. Just as I was about to go upstairs,I saw a man seating in one of the chairs with a book in his hands titled: A little life. The man had brown skin like dark chocolate. He pulled the book down a little to be able to peep his eyes out and look

Fly to the Moon

Fly to the Moon

Heading to the library alone, I feel sadder the more I am getting nearer to my destination. “I don’t like this.” I mumble while pouting my lips. Airo isn’t here today so I took the book he always reads. It’s my time to fill my head with some useful information about this so-called parallel universe. I spend the rest of my time reading it even though most of it seems impossible to understand. I could get a nosebleed with this out of the world’s words. Closing the book, I just notice a man in all poker glaring at me.

Girl, where should I start? I love your plot, I wish I had a phone like that. I feel like I'm living in their skin!! I cried with Airo because of his brother and then with Ciana finding her Mom. You have a great story here, and I hope to see Airo in that phone when she pics him again. <3 <3 <3

The Man I Was Meant to Hate

The Man I Was Meant to Hate

And toward choice. That’s when I feel someone watching us from the other side of the road. Not the cars. Not the men who want control the car. But someone else. “Liam,” I said in a low voice. “Don’t react.” He doesn’t. His grip tightens just enough to tell me he heard. A man steps out from behind a closed bookstore. He’s older. Late fifties, maybe. Grey hair cut short. His coat is worn at the elbows like he’s had it for years. His hands are empty and visible. He looks so… tired.

The Hated Mate (Lycan and his Lover Book 2)

The Hated Mate (Lycan and his Lover Book 2)

There is a hint of jasmine and lilies in the air while a fire is lit in the fireplace. A thin man in his seventies is standing in front of a bookshelf, looking for a book until he finally finds it. His beady red eyes scan the content and he sits on a couch to quietly read it. His balding hairline is visible under the light and his lips become thinner as he keeps on reading the book. “The laws of Ezealyra are changing for the betterment of their people,” he mutters. “If this keeps up then the Faikans will also demand for the same laws.”

Whoa tae tea. You are outdoing yourself in this book. Loving the book so far and the interactions between the ML and FL. They are so feisty together during this “hate” phase. I’m excited for more background and how they start to fall in love. Read this book pls, it’s so good. Writing is superb.

A wonderful companion to it’s predecesor. The story is a fantasy dark romance but in a good way. It’s done so well even Shakespeare would approve lol it’s full of hate love and adventure. Watch out Lord of the rings you have competition with this wonderful writer.

Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

Three-Years Contract Marriage with the Billionaire

No armor. Just Julian. His hair was slightly messy. His jaw had the shadow of stubble. He looked tired. He looked human. "What were you reading?" I asked finally. He glanced at the book he'd set aside. "Nothing. I was holding it and staring at the same page for forty minutes." "That doesn't sound like you." "No. It's not." He leaned back in his chair. "My brain won't shut off." "Mine either." "The letter?" "Among other things." I pulled the robe tighter around myself. "What's keeping you up?"

The Breeder And Her Lycan Beast

The Breeder And Her Lycan Beast

Nodding, Nol begins to follow the man while I hurry along behind them until we’re standing in a room with many books. "Have a seat," the man calls, beginning to rummage around one of the shelves until he locates a book. "Since you’re an impatient man, I suppose we should get right down to business." Nol doesn’t respond as he plops down while the man makes his way to the other side. Once we’re both sitting, the man plops down across from us and puts the book on the desk between us. "This," he begins, pushing the book closer to us. "Should be what you’re looking for."

The Hybrid King's Reluctant Mate

He had the shadow of his long eyelashes over his cheek while he was holding the book in his hand, he looked attractive while he’s reading the book. “What are you reading?” I asked while placing the book on the table, He glanced at me and gestured to look at the book title, “I read the title…” I said, annoyed. “What is it about?” I asked with curiosity, “Read that book first,” he said and looked back at his book, “I read it,” I replied, He huffed and placed the book over the table and glanced at me, “You are annoying,” he said while getting up from the table and walking towards the bookshelf in front of us. I watched him and got up from the chair,

I looked up. Adrian stood there in the doorway. He looked at me, his eyes moved around the room, he stepped in, and walked to the shelves. His finger moved slowly over the books, until one caught his attention, he pulled it out, read the back, and held it. He looked at the empty armchair across from mine, he just sat down and opened his book. I watched him settle into the chair, he crossed one leg over the other, unhurried and completely at ease. I looked at the angle of his jaw, the line of his shoulder, and how he held his book while he read.
